Transport Bar at Federation Square is offering 2100 points (2400 with email referral) by downloading their app, signing up and answering a few easy questions. You'll also get 10% off every purchase by scanning the app.

Android - iOS

Earning

  • 500 points for download, registering an account and clicking on a confirmation email.
  • 200 points for answering 1 survey question (e.g. What is your favourite drink? What AFL team do you support?) Screenshot. You'll get a notification of 200 points earned. There are 8 question so 1600 points in total.
  • If you refer someone, you will gain 300 points. Referee doesn't get anything. So if you are going to set up your account and one for your partner/friend, make sure to refer them. This will get you up to 2,400 points which is enough to redeem a Parma and have 200 to spare.
  • It says you can earn more points on your birthday, making your first purchase of the day and buying gift certificates in the app.

To redeem, pick what you want to redeem in the app and click redeem. You will need to use this voucher within 2 weeks. Once you are in the venue just show them the barcode in your app. Pretty simple.

There doesn't appear to be any indication of if the points expire. Guess we'll find out.

Pretty decent deal and good pub at Fed Square across from Flinders St. Station. While you're there head all the way upstairs on the deck for a great view of the Arts Centre/Southbank.

Thanks OP! Do you need to buy something else with the burger or parma?

    • Nope.

      • :)

  • Thanks mate.

  • Do they check for ID when redeeming? i.e. can we use false details?

    • You can change your details like your first name and last name in the app after signing up. Generally, Transport has bouncers at the door so bar staff won't check ID.

  • Hey thank you.
Nice change from the HJ shake and wins,
Just one thing, you say the vouchers expire in 2 weeks, but these 8x redeemable options (parma, pizza, chips, etc) are classified as Promotions, not Vouchers, so we may need a little further clarification on the difference and expiration thereof…..Thanks again.

    • Yeah, I guess you redeem the points for a voucher located in the promotions section. Once you've redeemed, the voucher will appear in the My Vouchers section of the app.

      • ah righto, thanks for that.
Been hesitant on clicking on redeems since I did that with a TGIF one and lost it.
Could have been the app, could be me.(moneys on the latter) :)

        • Yeah I know what you mean, I did the same with Maccas Monopoly. It's a 2 step process of redeeming so you can click them to see any terms then redeem/cancel in the 2nd step.

  • Where do you get the email referral from?

    • On the menu on the left, refer a friend.

      • Can this be added to the ozbargain referral system?

        • Were you looking to add your name in as a referrer? It's only really a benefit for the referrer and not the person signing up. Also it would have to be PM and keep in mind it sends your full name in the email to your friend. That said, if you want I can add Transport Bar to the referral system.

          • @neil: Actually I dont think you could add it. The app sends the email itself. There doesn't appear to be a unique code.

            • @Realdee: Yeah, I mean the referral system would just send out a PM to a random user and then you'd have to exchange email addresses through PMs.

  • I only get one survey question. What is your favourite drink

    • Ah, wonder if they've removed the questions from the app due to giving away too many points. Was that the iOS or Android app?

      • Android

        • Ah ok, looks expired then.

  • They’ve changed the promotions to buy one get one free :(

    • Crap, I should have redeemed them.
