I have some of another brands "fly catcher bottles". Anyone know a cheap attractant & poison (if you even need one) to use other than these super expensive bait saches?
Try fish waste or rancid meat under water. :)

The juice from canned salmon works well, I suppose tuna might work also.

The flies are currently providing us with cheap entertainment for our cats; moths are even better. I probably need to look into something like this, I can't really use the fly spray because the kitties are likely to catch and eat it after it has been sprayed.
Just open the window/fly screen and let them out.

That's what we mainly do at our place. They like to head towards light so we shoo them out that way.
A less common approach to get rid of them at our place is with a rolled up advertisement - this is more common at night when the preferred approached hasn't worked.
