    Quick question, to anyone with experience with this. I am after EVO Plus, but found such variation in price. Eg. this Ebay deal for 128Gb - $41.20. And then the proper stores, like Officeworks $99, Harvey Norman $96 etc. I have also read accounts of fake cards. Is it likely that the much cheaper Ebay online ones are fake? Or is it simply different cost structure being online store, hence the much lower price? Thanks.

      There are a number of reputable sellers on eBay. That seller is one of them. Their cards are genuine.

      Yup that's it! Those fancy large stores with high rent, lots of bright lights, air conditioning, and floor staff costs quite a bit of money. :)

  When you say IP camera, I assume it's being used in a CCTV IP camera and the card will be constantly recording video?

  If so, the read and write speeds between the two cards makes no difference at all, as IP cameras use relatively low bitrates.

  However for a CCTV scenario I would get a high endurance card instead, like this. SD cards have limited write lifespan. High endurance cards use a different kind of flash memory that can withstand more writes.

      In both scenarios, a high-endurance card will last longer than either EVOs.

      A larger card will last longer too though, since it takes longer to fully fill up the card and start again. :)
