Never played the Mario Golf RPGs? (Back when Camelot made RPGs) Those are similar but Golf Story just has a greater focus on the side activities and story than those.

I recommend Resident Evil Revelations 2 just for the Raid mode. It’s good for a pick up and play as each session last 5-10 mins. I’ve put over 50 hours on this game.

Can’t be looking too hard then. Lots of these games appear in top 10 games lists for all platforms. ‘Inside’ was recently voted best Xbox One game of all time by IGN and while I don’t necessarily agree with that it still speaks for its quality.

Street Fighter Anniversary usually $80, on sale at $56? Who are they kidding. Here I am getting Red Dead Redemption 2 today and I paid a whopping $47

Agreed, the pricing for these mobile games is rediculous, I had fun with my switch earlier in the year but I ran out of must play games and now it's just these overpriced poor performing ports. Considering offloading the system.

Digital versions are overpriced on any platform if you look at their RRP. RDR2 is $99.95 on the PS Store right now but will be 20 or 30% off the next time a good sale comes around. Same deal with Switch eShop games.
SFAV is a meh price. Most of their sales are. And the price of really old indie games (even on "sale", Lol!) is a sick joke.
But I play my switch heaps. First rate titles, physical, sell the game afterward. It's costing me nearly nothing to game on this platform

Because of Nintendo know people will buy it when they buy the Switch. So No sale for those game, regardless of how old the game is.

Wolfenstein 2 and Skyrim would be good bets for you. Maybe Xenoblade 2 or LOZ Breath of the Wild if you like the action RPG elements.
Not really anything similar with that mix of compelling alternate history, stupid guns, story and RPG progression.
I'm hoping they do Fallout 3/New Vegas as I imagine it would run OK looking at Skyrim.

For serious gamers, Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is the best dollar value you can get from that list imo. At least 200 hours of gameplay before you'll put it down.

@ce5himm: Wow that's true. Might get that for a friend then. Well, I'd rather have a digital copy to play whenever. Only for Monster Hunter specifically. It's one of those lifestyle games I'll play from time to time, like how some people play Mario Kart. To each his own though.

Yet another shitty "sale" full of low quality indie games and overpriced ports of games most people have played already and run objectively worse. Nintendo certainly are consistent….

I love my Switch and have a bunch of mostly physical games, but Nintendo have really chocked it full of digital indie crap to beef up their library.
On top of that, the digital library pricing is absurd, and Nintendo Online capability is more like the PS2 era with a pay wall.
But Zelda, Mario Odyssey and Octopath is enough reason to buy the console.
Is octopath a must play? I've been hearing a lot of mixed opinions on it online, seems to be you either love it or hate it.
Good if you like JRPG's and classic final fantasy. People who disliked it probably don't play the genre and prefer Call of Duty
@neonlight: I loved bravely default on the DS (except for the story at the end) so I'll probably pick octopath up soon

Sad to see. No AAA titles on discount. Nintendo so stingy. Wanted to see Skyrim, Mario series, Octopath traveller, Zelda on sale.
