Xiaomi backed Seabird have released a new feature packed camera with native 4K video recording at a good price. Under the hood is a Hisilicon Hi3559 processor that supports 4K and 2K recording paired with a Sony 13MP sensor that has a 150-degree F/2.6 wide angle lens. It's capable of recording at resolutions including 4K@30fps, 2.7K@30fps, 1080@60fps and slow motion at 720@120fps.

At the rear is a 2" touchscreen that allows you to change settings like the white balance, ISO, EV, shutter, sharpness, saturation and brightness. The screen can also be used to view footage or toggle between different video modes like slow motion and time lapse. For photos you can adjust the resolution, toggle HDR, set timer, burst and time lapse.

The camera also has 6 axis gyro stabilisation and lens distortion correct technology. It has a removable 1050mAh battery that offers up to 90min of 4K and 150min of 1080p recording. It has WiFi 2.4Ghz/5Ghz and Bluetooth for mobile control with the app or livestreaming and takes a micro SD card up to 128GB.

You will be hard pressed to find a camera packed with this many features with native 4K (not interpolated) at a low price!

      It is the type of lense on the camera. If you want an up close view then you need a 30x optical zoom or better. You will then need to follow the action.

      This cam is about 150° FOV. So you will look like ants. I assume what you want is a cam that has about 90° FOV. That's quite rare in an action cam but one comes to mind. The Hawkeye Firefly 8 or 8SE comes in a version with 90° FOV
