I have one of these, it is bloody hard to put together..
It took me and mate over 5-6 hours to complete assembly.

    • +1

Yep, and need 3 people to do it comfortably for us. It's like assembling Ikea furniture x100.

But you get what you pay for - it's a cheap kit shed for a reason. Would still buy again.

  • Do you have any deals for people that aren't vertically challenged?

    • We do have an installation service in Melb, Syd and Bris for $400 if that helps…

It's a 2.1m shed at the gable, so probably only 1.8m at the door, or 18cm too low for me.
If you get one that's 2m at the door for the same price, I might be interested.

        • We can't do for the same price. But there is the option to add 30cm to the door / walls / roof. Once you select a colour, you will see the accessories/options which include the Extra Height.

        • Presumably adding the Extra Tall Walls (30cm) would increase the door height as well?

          • @djkelly69: Yes, that is correct. It add 30cm to the doors, walls & roof.

Do you really need to spam ozbargain with your ads?

    • Isn't that what OzBargain is for? For providing Specials.
Have you compared the 3x3 sheds with all the Aussie manufacturers? If you do I think you will see this is an outstanding deal.

When Ebay have a 20% off, I call that great to be on OzBargain, not "why is Ebay spamming an Ad". But each to their own. We just trying to give a Win-Win for all…

This is Garden Shed, which sells many brands of sheds, including Easy Shed. The one you linked to is Easy Shed advertising their own sale (which has clearly been passed along to resellers like Garden Shed).

      • +1

Yes we sell many brands including EasyShed.
But if you take a look at their site, you will see they sell it for $599 in Grey. We are selling it for $499 in Grey.
So our Sale is way better you will see… Save $100 on their already listed special.

This is a genuine Bargain! ;)

  • I spent over six hours on the weekend building the panels on one of these EasyShed sheds. Now that I have the panels together I think that I'll need at least three people to help hold the panels while I screw them together to form a shed. The pack came with over 300 screws. It's a lot of work.

Sounds like you would have gone with the $400 install service we have. Sorry to hear. That's sounds like a long time for a 3x3 though I must say… We would normally suggest half a day for 2 people. Even though I can install them on my own, but have done many DIY jobs.

      • half a day for two people (presumably for first time installers) for $400 seems a little exxy. I am suprised you or someone at you office isnt on ozbargain offering an install service for cheaper (assume an expert can do it solo in half a day - 4hr x $50, $200 cash in hand….)

        • Our installers have built hundreds of these in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. We are an experienced team. And you also have to account for travel time. But labour these days doesn't come cheap. As you can see, products can be cheaper than labour ;) But I guess it is all about weighing up personal effort vs paid effort from an expert.

Other suppliers just pass on the job to a random list of numbers they have on file, for you to call - so you don't know what you are getting (and neither do they). With GardenShed.com.au, we handle it all.

      • I couldn't find shed installers in Canberra, so I put it together myself. I might have taken your $400 install deal if I had known about it.

Not sure why the hate - seems like a good deal - cheapest on this shed easily. Upvote

  • Difference between this and a 3x3m shed from Bunnings for the same price?

    • I am amazed Bunnings has the same shed for the same price. Are you sure it is not in Zinc colour?
I would need to see a photo, web url, or make and model and colour to be able to know and compare. But I have never seen them have this as cheap for the same quality…
