Good card. I love mine :)
Sad that we paid the same amount ($499 AUS) 2 years ago.

  • Is this Zotac 1070ti worth the extra $30 or would this 1070 be on par when it comes to performance?

    • +3

If you don't mind the brand (Zotac vs EVGA), 1070Ti is close to performance of a 1080 if you overclock is just a little bit (stock is -7% performance compared to a 1080)

That's the mini, which has very limited boost and overclock capability.

Check reviews to see how much more performance you'd get over an overclocked 1070.

FWIW, I believe the 1070 and 1060 are about to see a price drop, as apparently NVIDIA has a bunch of inventory to clear.

    • The mini versions run much hotter and louder, plus have a lower boost speed. Depends what you're after.

    • $30?! Yeah

  • Damn I wanted it to be the 1070 TI. Maybe I'll just jump on this since the TI cards are so much more expensive.

    • See comment above. A mini ti for $30 more. Easily worth it unless you want the ability to overclock.

      • I might not initially, but I would like to do so at some point and extend the use of the card. Plus the FTW has ICX cooling which I've heard is pretty good. Plus of course, EVGA's customer support regarding warranty. Issue with the TI variant of this FTW card is its $700 :(

Black Friday deals are coming up. You never know you might pick up a Ti for under $500.

MWave had EVGA 1070 ti for $499 with their vip membership. Only matter of time before other stores sell for that price without VIP.
