    • YESSS!!!

  • Thank you purchased mine for delivery Nov 27th :)

  • Can this be combined with ps4 deal for TRS?

    • need to be on one invoice.

      • No you can have multiple invoices, the trick is they need to be from the same retailer/ABN

        • It says both ps4 deal and bose qc 35II sellers are from amazon commercial. Hopefully its the same abn

  • Damn Black Friday, finally caved!

Now need to find a new loving home for my Sony XM2 :(

  • Bah. Should have seen this and done the 20% shopback

  • Ordered Amazon Gift-card for $15 back on $100 giftcard and still yet to receive a giftcard.

  • Checkout fails:
    We're sorry!
There was an internal error in our system.

  • Does everyone who bought this have a prime account?

    • +1

No, started my 30 day trial. You can still purchase for $320 without Prime.

  • I have just bought it and yes the early access is for Prime members only.

    • Time for me to use the 30 day trial!

  • Sucks there is a $50 cap on the shopback 12% off

  • Bought this and just saw the Midnight blue is back in stock grrrrrr

    • The Midnight Blue is $319

      • +2

It might be $299 at 10am if it's still a BF sale

  • Just purchased these- First ever NC headphones. Had to sign up to Shopback, and Amazon Prime :P pretty sweet deal I think when JB has them on "special" for $449 :)

Hopefully Ive done the shopback correct lol.

  • So Cashrewards are showing 12.5% cashback for Amazon Australia, but if I partially pay with giftcard then not eligible.

I have a $20 giftcard, will save it as the cashback is expected to be approx $33 based on pre GST amounts.

    • What about with Shopback? I intend to buy with giftcards too.

      • Don't know about Shopbacks cashback rate or their terms for cashback.

  • +3

Just checked, available in black and silver for $299.99 for Amazon Prime members, with increased CR of 12.5% and Amex off if you have it $15

    The maths:

    Price - $299.99
    Cashrewards - $37.50
    Amex - $15
    TRS (only above $300 spend)

    Total - $247.49 (without TRS)

This must be the lowest to date for Series II? Did i miss something?

What is AMEX $15 deal ?

  • So just caved and got my first set of Bose (opted for Silver), wanted to get for Christmas been watching for a long time.

Nice deal, $299 with free Prime 30 day trial. Cashback estimate $33 so should be $266 delivered!

  • Blue $299 100% claimed from get go.

  • Was the blue versions ever in stock for $399.99?

    • it was on sale for $299, I claimed deal, hesitated, but then item disappeared from cart.
so not sure if sold out or item was not available in the first place

thought i am supposed to have 10 mins to check out claimed deals

  • I saw the midnight blue in stock but by the time I got to ordering it, it was 100% claimed.

  • Added to midnight blue to cart at 10am for $299, but just like Nicolas Cage it was gone in 60 seconds.

So checked out a black pair.

  • I must have been one of the few who got the Blue? It was 66% claimed when I refreshed at about 30 seconds past 10, and then when I went to check out it was already 80% claimed. I did check out successfully though and got the order confirmation. Paid with account balance which I combined 3 AMEX cards with, so the cost was pretty much $255, close to the legendary deal with eBay a while ago for these at around $250 if I remember correctly.

    • nice! i missed out.. thinking i have 10 mins to check out after clicking claim deal :(

    • Shame can't stack Cashrewards with 3x Amex Cards as gift cards. Bit of a waste of time.

      • Yea it is a shame, otherwise would fall into close to the $200 mark. Can't have everything, and I'd rather the guaranteed statement credit than the Cashback which sometimes doesn't track properly and also has a longer wait.

    • How did pay with 3 AMEX cards? it only can be paid by one card.

      • Bought 3x $100 gift cards for myself, loaded onto the account. Pay with account balance for the QC35.

  • I managed to get the blue's through shopback!

I ordered my first ever Bose headphone
But now thinking too much that did I made right decision or I should have gone for Sony1000XM3

Any positive thoughts for my purchase ?

    • +1

I have tried both for a couple of times in store and I think the QC35ii sounds much better than the 1000xm3, and it is way more comfortable. You made the right choice.

      • +1

Current owner of XM2 and just bought QC II to replace it because for me, XM2 have the following issues:

        1) lacking multi device pairing
        2) ear cups are narrow and the leather like material can make my ear sweat for long session use
        3) hand gestures are cool but takes time getting used to, skipped tracks or paused music when I wanted to raise volume

These design features I believe are retained im XM3

    • +1

I ordered this last night for $319 with 20% cashback from shopback but cancelled the order this morning.
While the general consensus is that the Bose is more comfortable, Sony seems to win on sound quality.

    • IMO they are for plane only, because they are very comfortable, and noise cancelling very good. But for regular use they clearly sound inferior to my wired headphones, and wireless Sennheiser.

    • +1

Many still prefer QC35ii; for both sound, NC and comfort, I was in the same situation and don't regret my purchase.

Bose is the creator of Noise Cancelling technology.

    • Well I was in the same boat as you and about to pull the trigger on Bose QCII. However last minute I read all the reviews on Amazon.com for both headphones and paid $20 more for Sony1000XM3 (Silver) at $320.

My reasons based only on reviews:
      1. XM3 noise cancelling is the best ever supposedly overtaken Bose QCII
      2. Audio quality on XM3 is way better. Supposedly Bass Heavy but with EQ changes via the app, offers much better audio quality.
      3. XM3 supports aptx HD and LDAC codes which IMO is the way forward in 2018. Bose QCII doesn't support either.
      4. XM3 supports touch based temporary turn off Noise Cancelling for those quick conversations.
      5. Bose QCII suffers from Video Lag especially Netflix due to high latency (most likely due to not supporting aptX)

      See more here: https://www.audioholics.com/audio-technologies/bluetooth-aud…

However I did also consider Bose QCII had the following +Ves:

      1. Most comfortable ANC headphones ever according to many reviews.
      2. Neutral sound which is preferred by a lot of people.
      3. $20 cheaper at the time of this OZB post. However its now $320.
      4. Supposedly better quality.

      Hope this helps.

$246 for me after 12.5% CB and amex offer :P
    Thanks OP

  • Did the triple blue disappear after 30 seconds?

    • they were $319 when I saw it not included in this deal, I think

      • +1

I got a pair. They went in about one minute.

  • can we cancel the order after 30 mins? or it can only be done by refuse the parcel?
ordered it when 8% CB, but now it goes to 12%

    • If it hasn't shipped out yet, you should be able to cancel the order.

    • I cancelled mine through livechat while it was in preparing for shipment status.

  • Will anyone be able to share a screenshot of the Midnight Blues at $299? Trying to get eBay best price guarantee and not sure if they will accept the current Silver/Black which is prime only.

    • Doesn't it need to be in stock?

      • I'm not sure because they have the following text on the page:

"We also recommend that you take a screenshot of the item on the approved online retail website in case the price has changed since your purchase."

        https://www.ebay.com.au/help/buying/paying-items/ebay-best-p…

If they honor screenshots of the price at the time, I could maybe argue it was in stock an hour ago.

        • Holy cow! So the eBay price guarantee worked. They give you a voucher that's worth the difference as well as a 5% price beat. What's more is the eBay voucher is a PayPal promotion where PayPal makes up the difference so in eBay's eyes, the full price was paid. So I just got a voucher worth $114.95 for the purchase price of $319 yesterday!

          • @keyman: Hell yeah! That's great!

          • @keyman: Hi keyman,
can you please share the screen shot for midnight blue? - will give it a try as well :)

          • @keyman: Ok it seems like I may have gotten lucky with regards to the full price. I'm hearing mixed reports of others only getting a discount off the $319 price.

  • I always champion the Sonys but this a fantastic deal.

  • Thanks OP bought!

What is TRS? In layman's term please. Thanks.

    • If you had googled "trs" you'd have the answer….

Stands for Tourist Refund Scheme; essentially you can claim the gst back on it (does not apply in this instance, since the purchase (on it's own) is less than $300).

      • -2

Well according to Google, TRS is/are… Teacher Retirement System, Telecommunication Relay Service, Total Return Swap and amongst many others. Oh shoot. fuggedaboutit!. lol

  • What's so good about this headphone?

    • Not that much. They are a wireless technology with active noise cancelling and sound OK, but are not a $300 monitor type of headphone sound quality. Probably really worth $100, maybe $120, but are paying for the name, Bose. Which is odd as audiophiles and sound engineers tend to keep away from the name Bose. That said, it is a problem is to actually find a cheaper pair that have comparable noise cancelling. They are around in Japanese brands, but not this form factor, and the chinese need to spend another 18 cents on the engineering on their headphones, which they don't like to do.

If you use them everyday and are happy, woopee. But buying them for a particular flight or rare use…. well, you might have accidentally clicked a link to OzlifestylesOfTheRich. I have done that before.

  • Great price. Paid >$400 for these in December last year and they are fantastic.

  • Deal of the Day has ended. $319,20 now

    • Lol I missed out by a few seconds. Was in cart with a minute left then wasn't sure if I clicked from cash rewards so redid it and missed out. On well 319 is still a steal plus CR and I can get TRS.

      • same here… but still good price

  • got the black one tho really wanted the blue :)! thanks OZB

    • I liked the Blue but ended going Silver as it seems too difficult to find spares for the blue.

  • Does anyone have a screenshot of the black one for $299?

  • Is the $319 price just for black friday sales or is this the new standard price for the QC35II?

    • Highly doubt it's the new standard price. It's $450 right now on Bose aus down from $500.

    • Probably getting rid of stock because it's rumored QC45 coming out soon

    • No.

  • If I purchase another product from a different seller in the same order will the whole order appear on a single tax invoice with Amazon as the seller?

    • I guess it will be in separated invoices.

  • Deal of the Day ! More like deal of the minute. I go to work, come home and it’s all done and dusted.

    • It was there for a long time, blue went quick.

  • Think all colours are sold out even at $319

  • +1

Used the Cashrewards app to click out to Amazon AU (in built Cashrewards browser, not Amazon app), and all tracked perfectly:

    Retailer
    Amazon Australia
    Date of sale
    23 Nov 2018
    Sale value
    AUD 272.72 *
    Expected Cashback
    AUD 34.06
    Expected Approval
    6 Feb 2019

    So final price:
$299.99 - $34.06 (Cashrewards) - $15.00 (AmEx Amazon AU statement credit) - $27.27 (effective TRS amount) = $223.66. Factor in the ~600 AmEx Ascent points and it's an ever sweeter deal.

That's a steal for Bose QC35. I have a pair already (Silver from an older VideoPro eBay 20% deal), but why not get another one when it's this price? Should be good for surprising the missus on the honeymoon :)

  • NICE @MathNerd

Wish I still had Amex boo BIG4 Banks for canceling :-(

I was able to get one when they were at $319 but with the %20 shopback promo.

    Now someone else wants one!!!

Anybody know if there's another good deal on a pair at the moment or need to wait for CyberMonday?

  • How long does it take cashback to show up on ShopBack?

I clicked through their website yesterday at 8am and the click history shows up on my ShopBack account. But it says they need to verify that I bought something?

Always used Cashrewards and this is my first time using ShopBack.

    • +1

It can take up to 4 days.

I did the same clicking through shopback when it was %20.

Just make sure your click is recorded you can always query with them later. There is also an active rep on OzB.

I haven't missed one cashback since I started using them during the Prime Day sales a few months back.
