Anyone know what the endurance is like on these? I can't seem to find it on their website 🤔

  • There seems to be an issue with powering some of these large WD externals.

"power them using Molex to SATA adaptors. They don't power on for me either if I use SATA power directly. This seems to be an issue with the 3.3v pin on the newer WD/HGST helium drives."

    • I suppose it's an issue if you're running a PC from the early late 90s/early 2000s

      • No, the molex adapter is the workaround, they don't work on SATA power
