15% off Spotify gift cards at Big W. Saw the advertisement in store when I was at Big W Highpoint, I bought the 6 months card and saved $10.80. Not too bad discount if you have been paying the subscription price monthly.
Please note that the gift card is only for spotify premium, not valid for spotify student/family subscription.

Last week I was able to get 3 months of spotify for 99 cents. It was only for new customers who hadn't tried a trial. Not sure if they still have that deal.

It’s currently not possible to pay for a Premium for Family subscription using a gift card, but we do have a workaround for you.Cancel your current Premium for Family subscription at https://www.spotify.com/account/.
- Then, subscribe to Spotify Premium at http://www.spotify.com/premium/ using the gift card as payment.
- Upgrade your account to Premium for Family directly after at https://www.spotify.com/family/. The gift card value is automatically converted to your new Family plan.Thanks. It was to set up a new family account, so this might work pretty well.

On the topic of family plans then can anyone tell me what the saving is over 6 months by doing the workaround above? I feel I'm overlooking a potential saving here…

If you use the workaround do you lose everything set in Spotify? As in play lists etc, or is it like Netflix where it carries over.
Family plan is $17.99 per month for 6 members with the same address in Spotify. Minus 15% for using gift cards. 3 X 6 month gift cards should cover a year for the family. About $30 per family member per year.

Does anyone know if these cards can be purchased online? I can't seem to find them on Big W website
Also, do they expire after 12 months? If they do can I still purchase 36 months worth of cards and immediately punch in the numbers into my Spotify account?

Yes and instead of charging your card/PayPal it will deduct the monthly fee from your "prepaid credit"

Spotify have a deal at the moment $12 for 3 months! I think it's for new customers only but If u have already have had an account just make a new one and then you can get the deal!
And you can bring your play lists over easily from your other Acc as well :)
