  • Sigh. I got a Westinghouse Chest 200L freezer at the HN 10% site sale just last week. :(

    • Yeah I am in the same boat as you… Did you have any luck getting HN to honour their price promise, its been less than 7 days?

      • Whoa.. didn't know that. Hmm just checked its listed as Good guys $398 same as HN 10%. Do they even consider ebay 20% off?

      • NM Policy and chat:

"Unfortunately I do apologies as we do not price match ebay regardless as it is a marketplace store."

Not the cheapest its been but reasonable.

Also seems to be a Sunbeam equivalent for $479 but lacks the pressure gauge

  • I have tried to purchase Google Home Hub $199.

    But doesn't accept discount code.

Is anyone having the same problem??

    • Yep … I've tried the JBL LinkView and it says "This code can't be applied to your order."

      • Yes, that's the message came up for me every time.

    • Just tested it and the discount is working for me. Takes $39.60 off at checkout.

      • thanks for testing it.
but still didn't work for me.

        • Try a different eBay account

    • me, cant buy a dyson or gopro. just comes up this code cant be added to your order :-(

      • Try a new eBay account. See below.

    • What's the go here? Is it only applicable to some items and not others?

    • Turns out they are using the same code as last year when I used it for my phone. Use a different eBay account or check out as guest and code works. New dishwasher sorted.

    • SORTED!!

Someone wrote,Sounds like same discount cord as last year.

I have created a new account, then typed in cord, succeed it!!

  • I purchased a fridge from TGG on yesterday and they said that it's price is covered under their 30 days price guarantee. They said if another seller offered it cheaper, they will pay back the price difference plus another 20% more on the difference.

Any idea if they will beat it with this 20% eBay promotion?

    • +1

      Unfortunately, no they won't.

The 30 Day Price Guarantee does not apply in respect of advertising errors, limited or group buy offers, clearance products, promo code offers, finance offers, prices which include bonus offers, cash backs or discounts whether these are offered directly or via redemption from a supplier or a third party and also excludes items sold on marketplace websites such as eBay, as well as The Good Guys own pricing and any brand it sells for a third party supplier under an agency agreement.

      https://www.thegoodguys.com.au/30-day-price-guarantee

Your best bet would be to try and get a refund on your current order and re-purchase I think.

      • Will call them and ask. Thanks mate.

Bought an Philips iron using click and collect, but immediately returned it at counter because I was so “lucky” that I happened to get the “inspected-by-staff-last-in-store” (clerk’ s words) one which its box was all marked and dented suggesting it’s a returned item in my opinion. Although the box clearly showed history of usage, I didn’t even bother to take pics as evidence.

Has anyone had or heard similar experience/cases that they put returned items for eBay orders? This is my second experience, the first time was not so obvious so I collected my order. I remember seeing another similar case from somewhere. Please be careful with dodgy click and collect items…
