Gold Coast - Theme Park Holiday - Best Option? Seaworld Deal Opinions?

So the wife saw this deal recently (https://www.discoverqueensland.com.au/accommodation/gold-coa…) which gives a relatively cheap 5 day stay at Sea World along with theme park access (Sea World, Movieworld, W&W and PC)

Two kids (7 and 3), and don't feel like sleeping in a double bed, so I guess the real price is $1124 or $1374, depending on how 'renovated' a room you want. Would be going out of school holiday time, so no extra fees there.

Anyone every grabbed one of these deals and can comment?

Compared to buying the tickets directly (~$500-$600, as while we wont go for all 5 days, having the option to visit 3, but spaced out which a three day pass wouldnt allow, makes the 7 day more likely?) and accommodation (maybe airbnb? seems under 1k could get you something decent on the gold coast)

Some thoughts/feedback/ideas would be great.

    I believe the hotel itself is fairly dated, but still seems like a pretty good deal.

    Seaworld is not a great location if you will be doing other stuff as well. Will you be hiring a car?

      yeah, will have a vehicle as Im too impatient for public transport ;)

    I stayed there for a night a few months ago. It was on special, $199 for a night + 4x three day pass to SeaWorld, movie world and wet n wild and breakfast for 4.
    It was excellent value for what it is. Hotel is comfortable, I wouldn’t exactly say it’s dated or modern, but I’d rate it 5/5 for that price.

      $199 with breakfast was a decent deal

      i'd slum it for the cheap option, but I'm not doing a week crammed into a half double bed ;)

    We used a similar deal (at a similar rate per night) early this year but for just three nights.
    We (2 adults and 2 kids - 7 and 11) were in a room with two queen size beds. It felt close after a couple of days.
    But, the kids loved it.
    We didn't visit the other included attractions but if staying 5 days probably would have.
    I think this is excellent value and would recommend.
