      HA !

We have been waiting 6 weeks for an OEM radiator for our works SS.

Not sure Holden are terribly concerned about customer service……………

      • Maybe GMH is collecting all the 5c pieces onsite to be able to afford to order the radiator in for you :)

  • What should consumers do?
drive like an 80 year old, navigate turns very gingerly at lowest possible speed, leave a huge gap between your car and the one in front, even when stopped at traffic lights

That's one way to see a lot of cars in a Holden dealership again.

Comes in for warranty work, gets told "ah sorry mate, I just can't let you leave without replacing your tyres, changing suspension bushes, topping up blinker fluid and changing your 710 cap."

    • Literally never happens at Holden.

I've had three Commodores and have literally driven out with bald tyres. They only note in on the docket and suggest you replace them.

My brother in law works at Holden in the service department and has never held a car back.

Now Pedders 1 million point safety check on the other hand…

      • You missed the joke, and the fact that mechanics can't "hold back" someone elses car.

      • Literally never happens at Holden.

Hahaha… What? It literally always happens. This forum is full of stories of people going to dealers for a warranty/recall/service action and being sold a line of bullshit to get them to commit to blinker fluid and muffler bearings. It’s how these vampire places operate…

My local Holden dealer did this to my wife recently. Went in for a service action/warranty issue and they tried to sell her $700 worth of shit she didn’t need. They wanted $60 for windscreen washer fluid treatment.

        Never happens… tell him, he’s dreamin’…

This issue has been covered up ignored known about for a long time.
I recently had my entire steering rack replaced 8 months out of warranty (and wheels realigned) for free.

The Facebook group Club VF has tonnes of people with the same issue in the last few years.

This is the first time Holden are acknowledging, and issuing a recall.

After they no longer have factory here. Therefore part take years toarrive for recall repair

      • They probably never made the steering rack in Australia to begin with….
