You can email ([email protected]) and ask them to close your account. You won't be allowed to use the same phone number again for 6 months, so if a similar promotion ever came back around within that time, you'll miss out unless you have other SIMs.

Had trouble verifying ID. Not sure if it’s because I’ve been living outside of Australia for the past five months with a different address, or to having two middle names. I tried all combinations of different middle names however, and made sure it matched passport. Also tried with drivers license and Medicare with no success. Sent a message to support so we’ll see what happens. Hope I don’t miss out on the promotion.

To add referral codes into Ozbargain, you go into your your own profile (click your own username), click Edit and in the Referrals section you can add in your referral codes or links.

Can anyone please confirm if the referral is working for the referrer? I referred my friend and he got $10 + $5 using my code but I did not receive the $5. This happened twice. And no I did not hit the $50 limit.
Yes, it's still working for the referrer. Just got it - beem added a new contact under the networks screen and 10 mins later, it sent $5.

Thanks, working correctly now. The issue was I removed the debit card information. That is why the bonuses were not coming. Contacted Beem and they sorted it out.

just a small tip. if you create multiple accounts on the same device uninstall the app each time otherwise the accounts will get the same code.
then you can refer each other which is $20 each account
10+5 then $5 for the person that uses your code. then use there code for $5+$5.

My referral code has been shown 18 times through the OzBargain referrals system, but I haven't received any referral credit. This leads me to suspect there may be some issues.
Mines been shown 10 times, but my issue is that I actually registered one of the extra accounts and stood next to the second person while they added my code. Their push notification shows my code as being the referral code. Hopefully it’s just a delay (although been 9 hours):

Only if both your CBA and Citibank accounts are signed up to BeemIt. That's why BeemIt was created - instant bank transfers via the EFTPOS network.
Once you have logged into the app go to profile —> cards —> add new card. That creates two cards.
I don't know if you can pay yourself from one account to the other. Someone else would have to try that. You can't officially have more than one account.
Whirlpool thread didn't really explain how to transfer between two of your own cards. Also the app keeps telling my my Citibank card is not a Visa or MasterCard debit card. It definitely says MasterCard debit on it and has the EFTPOS logo on the back :(
Is it just me, or are people also seeing $0 transactions from BeemIt in fheir bank account transactions? Second time it’s happened now.
So far I’ve had eight views on my referral code, one lot of $5 from referrals come in (thanks OzBargain!) and two $0 BeemIt transactions.
