Bethesda has announced that all Fallout 76 players who have logged in to the game during 2018 will be entitled to the Fallout Classic Collection when it goes live in early January. Bundling the first three Fallout games, the collection comprises Fallout, Fallout Tactics, and Fallout 2.
While the three games included in the collection are very different to the first-person RPG form that Fallout 3 adopted when Bethesda took over the franchise, they'll no doubt be appealing to fans of the series who may not have played them before. Originally, the bundle had been a PC pre-order exclusive.
Now, following the below tweet from Bethesda, the Fallout Classic Collection entitlement also applies to anyone who owns and has logged in to Fallout 76, meaning you can potentially snap up three old-school strategy games for free. Perhaps the offer going multi-platform might give Fallout 76 sales a kick up the bum.
