    Most likely don't need to use giftcards to buy at Harvey Norman. Last year I used the Harvey Norman amex credit at Domayne to buy 2 monitors (from Domayne) and still got the credit even though it didn't state it in the T&C.

    From my understanding Gerry owns Harvey Norman and the wife owns Domayne so basically they are the same store.

    I got my gift cards 1.5 hours after buying them from the Domayne website. On the website I added to my shopping cart 1x500, 1x200, 1x50 (total 750), checked out and paid using Credit Card option and entered my Amex Credit Card details. (after signing up for this cashback offer)

    I successfully used my gift cards at Harvey Norman. On the gift card itself it says "Can be used at Harvey Norman."

    Saved $150 :)

    Yeah, got mine as well.

    Received an e-mail saying that the order has been rejected due to 'security'.

    I e-mailed them asking what the issue is, then about five minutes later, my gift cards arrived.

    Weird, but yeah, worked at Harvey Norman. Got a DJI Spark fly more combo for $608.

    Am looking at getting an Apple Watch S4 with this deal (essentialy a free upgrade from the basic model to the with cellular model). I’m not sure if Domanyes in Melbourne have an electrical department, as the only 2 in our state are located next door to Hardly Normals. Was planning on buying a physical gift card from Domayne (avoiding the online issues some people are having) then going next door to Hardly Normal and using it there.

    I can also confirm that buying gift cards work. I bought $750 worth of e gift cards, order went under review for a few hours. Order was then confirmed and gift cards issued. I then went down to my local Domayne and Harvey Norman and bought a few things I had my eye on. Also amex emailed me confirming the offer as soon as I had purchased the gift cards.

      Purchased gift cards are definitely not returnable, but the AMEX offer is certainly working for gift card transactions regardless of any conditions stating otherwise.

          They were saying that bedding didn’t want to do it, but the furniture side confirmed it was fine, had a memo about it and had a few people do it. Apparently they’re separate business units, and one of the sides didn’t want to deal with the complaints if it didn’t go through.

    Bought 6 egift cards totalling $1500 from Domayne using 2 Amex Cards. At first, one request was denied - but an hour later the cards came through. Purchased Breville Dynamic Duo $1049 (with added promotional bonus of $150 Barista Gift Pack from Breville) & also a 9.7 iPad price matched to Officeworks $519. Breville Duo - $839 & iPad $415 - happy enough with that. 2 x $150 credits to Amex a few days later.
