The year in Review

Ok. This is it, The final SunValley sale of the year and what a year it has been. Sunvalley has asked that I thank OzBargain members for your support this year. Because of this support, they have been able to expand their range a lot faster than originally intended. And thanks to the fantastic response to the recent Poll & giveaway, SunValley will fast-track the release of the products that OzBargain members have requested. The response was so good that I have been told that they will run more giveaways in the future.

I would also like to personally thank all OzBargain members. It was just over a year ago that, after a couple of months of lurking and having developed a severe Xiaomi addiction, I decided to join to post a deal for a Xiaomi Powerbank. Around 6 months later I made a Chiko Roll post, just for fun. Little did I know that the SunValley Rep would see this post and also seeing that I had posted a couple of deals for powerbanks as well, would decide to ask me if I wanted to post deals for SunValley.       There has been a supply issue with those, probably due to them trying to release in the US & UK. So hopefully in February.

      I have been told that there will be a range of True Wireless earphones from TaoTronics & the Rep is pushing for Australia to be a priority in the roll-out.

    What's the thinking on the BH-035? It's the $18.99 model. I'm just after a basic pair for running so I can bench my chunky Sony ones that have the inbuilt GPS. Don't need the function given it's all in my watch anyway. Or spend a bit more?

    Which of the Bluetooth earphones would be the loudest/largest drivers? I've tried a range of Bluetooth earphones even expensive ones but found them lacking when it comes to volume.

    what are the differences between these 2 x wireless earphones:

    they both are about $3-4 difference in price, before/after discount.

    i bought AptX transmitters earlier this week from the other sale ( thanks @xev ),
    and i wanted to pair up with some earphones (apart from also using these earphones with mobile phone, etc.)

      I would recommend the VAVA BH009s, Aluminium build, longer battery life and the flat noodle cord.

      The TT-BH027 also have different controls that IMHO look better and comes with an OTG cable to charge from your phone (if it has micro USB). I got the TT-BH027 for Christmas and am very happy so far

      I just received the TaoTronics TT-BH025 Earphones. The cable is so thin and the ear tips are so loose in my ears. Comparing them with my Soundpeats Q30 Plus side by side - the Q30 feels far more premium. Like double the price. Time to gift the TaoTronics! Should have stuck with the Q30 that has served me well

      Sorry Mate, I have been out most of the day so haven't been able to check for you.

      The BH07s have the shortest cord by about 8-10cm but the BH025s have a small clip so you can adjust for a better fit.

    I bought BH042,

    Do you have recommendation for good fitting SILICONE ear tips?

    The ones included with the earphones are pretty thin and don't do much passive noise isolation

    I have a pair of ear tips which have MUCH better noise isolation but comes off the earphones too easily, probably due to hole has elongated shape!

    Combined with good isolating ear tips, the ANC works great!

    Aside from water proofing and styling does the sound quality differ between the models much?

    I grabbed a set of the BH035 to try - good for the price but sound quality probably what I'd expect - hasn't blown me away. That's okay at that price though.

    Wondering if he BH027 or others in the category of being good for running or sport have superior sound quality?

    Hey gang - would love to hear some reviews from those who purchased - given there are so many different versions/models will help for future sales to know which to go for. I picked up the BH035 - the budget model. Certainly can't complain for $18.99 but would like the fit to be a bit more snug (might be achievable when I try the other ear tip attachments) and a slightly fuller sound. But, for the price, not bad.

    I find the 'controller' tugs a big when you're running, which is not surprising given it's a weight to one side that isn't balanced. The cord also catches on my neck a little if I'm wearing while working in the garden and a tad sweaty - happens more if turning head and then turning back. That's not an issue when running as it's bouncing around.

    Would love some other reviews for some of the higher models as I'd like to pick up another set next sale. Not sure whether to go Taotronics or to try the VAVA MOOVS or whether to overlook completely and go for some Jaybird X3's at a higher price point.
