  • Have you test driven this car?

    • I have, not too bad for the price. I will get my partner to go and try it also before making the final decision

  • We bought an outlander last year. I am not sure exaclty what model but it has ACC, auto everything, lane departure, auto emergency brake. It has a big boot, but not much leg room. I know this sounds silly but not many pockets and places to put things like wallet, phone etc while your driving.

We don't use the 3rd row much as we have baby seats in the middle row and we have to climb in through the boot, but the 3rd row is not really bad, (they are not good but it is what it is).

It's a nice car for the price.

    • Thanks for the info. Does your have the in-built GPS? Also does your car lacking in power when going up the hill? In my test drive I find the car struggle a little when going up hill but other than that no other problems.

      • I'm guessing you can blame the cvt for that. Wait until it's fully loaded.

        • CVT is really that bad? I never had one so I am unware about the lack of power issue.

          • @Aerith-Waifu: Not bad. Just different. I had a Toyota camry rental with cvt and it did my head in. I'm still a manual driver but those days are numbered soon.

Most of the cvt driving was with cruise control on and rolling hills. It was making me feel giddy.

      • It has a GPS sensor and you can go through the menu and view the raw data but there is no mapping system, I guess that is an upgrade on a higher model.

I don't really notice any lack of power going up hills more than would be expected for an engine of that size, if you want more power then your going to need a V6 and I don't think you can get a V6 7 seater SUV for $32k.

        • Thank you for your input.

          • @Aerith-Waifu: I cant remember how much we paid but I think it was $31k for a demo with a good deal on the trade in.

      • I have the MY2018 LS version. No built in GPS but it has android auto, which I love not than built in GPS. It can reroute so much quicker. So far, so good. Love the car for the price I paid for it. Has everything we want.

        • Thank you for the input. Do you remember how much % discount you got?

        • Apologies for highjacking the thread, but do you have rear vent for AC?
