      • Left 2 orders I made at separate addresses at front door

        Could’ve even fit
In letter box, but left at front door lol

just got mine. no id required, but do need to sign

  • No email confirmation after 6 hours. Is this normal?

    • Definitely not normal. I had a PayPal email and a Telstra email when I ordered. I had an update email regarding parcel tracking just over two hours later.

  • Bought one of these, received it well. Activated it to use on a Telstra WiFi dongle and it only gave me 10gb. Did I do something wrong?

  • I buy six this kind of sims, activate one sim as main sim and use the other five as recharge. so $48 for 150GB data with 6 months expiry. Anything wrong?

    • Can't use a SIM to recharge but you could continue to activate one each month if you don't care what the number is. Issue being the 22GB bonus will expire.

  • "I buy six this kind of sims, activate one sim as main sim and use the other five as recharge. so $48 for 150GB data with 6 months expiry. Anything wrong?"

Sorry old man… will not work

    These are starter packs only

  • Can i move my existing telstra post paid number to this and still get the same bonus?

    • Yes. It's not a port though so you may have to contact a Telstra CSR.

  • My yearly kogan expired, got the $8 telstra sim today, up and running already, can i buy a second one, then port to Amaysim and port back to telstra to get a second month?

    • +1

      Yep

  • If I bought the sim, Is there way to upgrade to $40 plan with this?

Is it credit of $30 or linked to $30 plan?

    • You can activate on the $30 and then after the first month can recharge $40. That's the great thing about pre paid, you can recharge whatever amount you like (or not at all).

  • Thinking of porting into this for a month then take advantage of the Optus $59 deals. I'm currently a Optus customer and they're saying I won't be eligible for that offer. Wonder if doing that makes me a "new" customer to Optus hmmm

    • It should do

  • no require to activate within 30 days before purchase?

already got 2 and thought of get 1 or 2 more..so far i can get 4 months out of telstra for $8

  • Is there anyway to purchase 3 of these in 1 order instead of putting in 3 separate orders??

    Thanks.

    • Don't think so.

      • awwww :(

I went to a few telstra shops today and none of them had any stock

        • Officeworks

          • @KLoNe: I just got the optus sim instead

  • Anyone know how long these take to post/receive? Next day?

    Just read OP

  • Thanks, OP. Ordered. Also I thought the expiry date didn't match the date on Telstra's site, then realised 10th Feb is the in-store expiry date, while the online expiry date is tomorrow (5th Feb).

    • Yep

    • I should've put that in the OP. It was there but then I changed it. Whoops.

      • No worries at all. I was actually making a comment just to get the Chatty badge during Feb, and this one seems least useless. ;)

  • Hi OP

Am I able to port an existing Telstra pre-paid number to the new one to get the 30GB data for $8?

    Thanks

    • No. That's not what a port is. And these are starter kits.

You could port out and back in again.

  • Been using this tethered to my laptop. Browsing speeds are good but it seems Telstra must be throttling streaming services because they run at low resolution and buffer.

  • Anyone know where I can get one of these from now? Seems like they are $30 online now. Just rang two Telstra shops and was told they are $8 online only.
