Can't use a SIM to recharge but you could continue to activate one each month if you don't care what the number is. Issue being the 22GB bonus will expire.

You can activate on the $30 and then after the first month can recharge $40. That's the great thing about pre paid, you can recharge whatever amount you like (or not at all).
Thinking of porting into this for a month then take advantage of the Optus $59 deals. I'm currently a Optus customer and they're saying I won't be eligible for that offer. Wonder if doing that makes me a "new" customer to Optus hmmm

Been using this tethered to my laptop. Browsing speeds are good but it seems Telstra must be throttling streaming services because they run at low resolution and buffer.
