  • I was hoping for at least a $150 max discount… I will wait again eBay… I have plenty of time left until i die.

  • Frustrating. Every NVME SSD i've searched for is about $30 more than online retailers, meaning the 10% off is more like 2% off. Lame.

  • This code can't be applied to your order.

  • I keep getting this code can't be applied to your order message

Just spent 30 mins trying to get my cart right for eBay to process. Firstly, got an error saying that some items the discount can't be applied to, fine, removed those items. Then I kept getting an internal error and after much back and forth, I realized that eBay only liked my transaction to have no more than 7 items? Ok fine, only 7 items.

Then finally managed to get to check out and got an error "This code can't be applied to your order." All 7 items are eBay plus items..

    F U eBay!

    • I was getting errors earlier when I tried entering the code without logging in to PayPal. The code was accepted after I logged in to PayPal.

    • The exclusions are annoying as hell. I got caught out, thinking I could buy suitcases with a discount. But because they are classified as "travel", they are excluded from all promotions. Obviously they are just "things" like everything else, but apparently too special to be bought at a discount.

    • I only had 6 items, eBay didn't allow a group purchase so I split them into 2 groups

Tried the code for both groups and the code worked (without finalizing payment). 30 min wasted - I won't be doing this again

To all those who can't apply the code, I used the online chat to speak to customer service and they generated a one-off code for me to use instead (which did work).

    • Was this on a plus item? I made an offer on a non-plus item because the discount was displayed beneath the price, which now no longer works…

      • +3

It was, though I ended up using the code they gave me on a non-plus item.

        • Wow u sneaky ozbargainer :)

        • Haha good! Stuff ebay, I regret ever giving them money for this joke of a membership

  • Tried purchasing a Mavic air, code couldn't be applied to the order. eBay plus is actually the biggest waste of time

  • Code works again but now only for plus items

  • I'm getting an error.

Error 404 - The bargain could not be found.

    • +2

I'm also getting a similar error, except it says:

Error 404 - The joke could not be found.

It's right there in the title - "eBay Plus"

  • Is it just me, or can you not sort your watchlist into Plus only items? Seems like a small oversight.

  • Have avoided this all along, with so many items with inclusive postage/delivery who needs this Plus rubbish!.
I just buy from the inclusive listings or by through AliExpress if not in a hurry.
Just give me a code thats worth it, and Ebay can shove the rest. Their call, OR loss!!.

  • Getting This code cannot be applied. Sigh.

  • Can someone please confirm if it works for https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/eBay-Digital-Gift-Card-5-to-200-…

Don't want to sign up for Plus if it doesn't work.

    Thanks

    • nope

  • s50 robovac is $472.5 after discount from a seller. Been waiting a while for it to be on sale this year… But my trigger point is $450.

I'm pretty tempted to buy it now, what's another $20? What do I do…

    • Perhaps buy some 5% off eBay GC from the classifieds?

    • Get it. Even at full price it's incredible value. It's equivalent to high end robot vacs which are $1000+

      • Yeah definitely, I've heard it's really good. What I might do is apply for the Westpac $200 cash back credit card and buy it when there's a sale like this again. I'm sure we'll have a sale close to Easter too

  • So how do we find which items are eligible? Weird promotion. I have 10 days left on my plus membership

  • Car parts not working for me again. Never work on car parts

  • That's really crap tbh. You pay, what, 60 for an annual membership? What for? I get free shipping before getting a membership… And now with these 100 limits, I might save about 50 odd bucks a year.i see no real point in continuing into a 2nd year with how poor these deals on. 15 or 20‰ off with 500 Max is what I should be reading once every 2 months…no store restrictions.

  • Yeah, something is seriously wrong here. Using this code "PLUSSALE" which is suppose to give me 10% off, I only save $1.60 but if I use the 5% off code "PURCHASE5" I end up getting $5.05 off. Stupid eBay.

  • Ahh - other lots more items, you've done it agayn.

  • Works with the current mobileciti deals on the oppo and LG G7 phones

  • not good if it's only for PLUS items…………

and excludes Car & Truck Parts????????????????

  • +1

Cancel cancel cancel… That's all I remember to do every time I see plus deals

  • +1

Can someone explain the logic behind exluding Car parts lately? :( , that's mostly what I buy, so it's really disappointing.

    • Same with travel. I wanted to buy some suitcases, luggage straps, luggage scales etc but those are excluded too. That's eBay for you. No logic.

Or maybe if we buy cars and travel then we aren't at home to purchase things on eBay, so that's why those categories are excluded.
