At this stage of finishing Summer, which flower to plant so we should see some good flowers in Autumn, Winter or even rain?

Off-topic.
We managed to grow a dozen rose cuttings from two years ago. We're going to try our hands on Bougainvillea and more roses. When is the best time to take Bougainvillea and rose cuttings?
We always cut them just before the bud blooms. I am not sure if it is because it lasts longer or you get more time at it's peak appearance.

It all varies on the type of flower you want.
Do you want low flowers planted as bulbs that disappear & reappear in its season.
My favourite website for knowing when to plant is gardenate. The problem is its mostly veggies & herbs.
This variety has been consistently in bloom during those periods.
