These usb c cable any good?
Also are they safe to charge note 8 and s10?
+3 votesI've had this specific type of USB-C cable before.
They're rubbish.
The metal tips are folded, and the plastic ends are only pushed together - not injection moulded or anything sturdy. They broke on me after only a handful of uses.

Thanks better look for blitzwolf then. Hope there's good deals for them.

Blitzwolf is the safe bet. They cost more but damn they are good. I've never had any fail and mine travel with me copping all kinds of treatment.

Other notable good value items as nocure mentioned above (if you have eBay Plus for free shipping): SanDisk 32GB High Endurance micro SD $19.95 for 2
Samsung Bar Plus 32GB USB 3.1 Flash Drive Memory Silver $24.95 for 2

hmm, if you do have eBay Plus membership, I suppose you can return and get them refunded even for change of mind (unless eBay Plus 30 days refund conditions have changed).

Are SanDisk Ultra still crap for dash cams or are they more reliable now?
+1 voteAvoid using ultra in dashcam, my one failed within the first week and high endurance is going strong since the upgrade.

+1 vote2 for $24.95 for Samsung EVO+ 64gb if you need the extra write speed (can handle 4K video, rated at U3 speed, up to 60mb/sec write). Sandisk Ultra is only rated at C10 (10mb/sec)

ahhh, Cheers. Bit cheeky as they list the above as 80mb/ sec 'transfer speed'. But this must be 'read speed'.

Yep! Always haha.. and it's often quite hard to discern the write speed. The 128gb EVO+ are currently the best bang for buck cards available (in terms of reliable brands at least). They provide 80-90mb/sec read and write. Though the Sandisk Extreme Pro does beat them slightly, it usually costs more as well.

Was happy when the 2x 64GB Sandisk for $25 from a recent deal arrived yesterday, now I just feel like I lost ~$7 for not waiting a week.
