To my dear fellow fillet o fish lover ozBgn'ers.

This hack requires both app and at counter (I can’t seem to add steamed bun to cheeseburger order and there doesn’t seem to be an option for fillet o fish portions)

STEP 1 VIA APP
Order the $5.95 Big Mac Meal with Cheeseburger in the McClassics section of app.
Customize Cheeseburger: No Ketchep, No Regular Onions, No Regular Beef Patty, No Pickles, No Salt & Pepper. [Just Bu and a full slice of cheese]
PLACE ORDER. (Click through to payment section and make payment. You will then follow steps to check in and confirm you have arrived in store. Then you will receive an Order number ie: 148; to confirm your order has gone into the stores system)

STEP 2 AT COUNTER
Point to your 148 order on screen and say; “that weird cheeseburger there, it is only bun and cheese, please ask the cooks at back to steam the bun like they do for fillet o fishes”
Then order:
1 x Tartare Sauce
2 x Fillet o Fish Portions
Pay and they will give you another order number.
Then say to the checkout staff; “please bag the 2 orders up together”

I put the 2x fish portions inside the emtpy steamed cheeseburger; then dip the thing into the tub of tartare sauce.

[a normal fillet of fish is made of half a slice of cheese only; a double fillet of fish is 2x halfs slices of cheese, i think the ingredients are identical]

Full price Double Fillet of Fish burger only is $6.75. Big Mac $5.90. Small coke $2.60. Small Fries $2.20
This equates to $17.45 vs $9.65 [45% off]

OR
small mac meal @$9.70 + double fillet of fish burger only at $6.75
This equates to $16.45 vs $9.65 [41% off]

    If we're going down this route there's plenty of 'hacks' that are complicated and infuriating for all involved.
    Maybe good for students but gosh it's kinda drawing a longbow to call it a genuine bargain. Understand that it to sits in the grey zone however dont feel it applies as a bargain.

    why calculate in this way?
    you can directly order a 5.95 meal (not hacked by you) and a Double Fillet of Fish burger 6.75 = 12.7
    you spent 9.65 to get the same thing minus a cheeseburger

    if a cheeseburger is 3.15(full price), 12.7 -3.15 =9.55
    This equates to $9.55 vs $9.65 [??? off]

    OR
    if a cheeseburger is 1.5, 12.7 -1.5 =11.2
    This equates to $11.2 vs $9.65 [14% off]

    Just change to my calculation, you will enjoy more. (and we will)
    (by the way, also need to change the formula e.g. dignity =1.55 or -0.1. and 1.55or-.1 * 20 * 40 etc)

        You can try to return the cheeseburger(Customized) at the counter, asking for a refund. 3.15 or 1.5 depends on your ability.

    i feel sorry for the school kids who work part time or trainees who get stuck with customers trying some of these hacks …..must make a crap job even crapier especially if their skill set is geared towards normal menu items ….this crap probabaly can only be handled by a trainer or a manager …..

    and then people complain their order is wrong after one of these hacks ……..if it’s via the app fine as it places no pressure on part time staff, but don’t make life hard for kids working part time just to make yourself feel smart at their expense, their day is bad enough as it is for very little pay.

    So this $7 saving you keep talking about is when you compare to full price items?
    Why wouldn’t you buy the $5.95 Big Mac and cheeseburger meal and add a double fillet o fish for $6.75 - total of $12.70 so only $3 more than your wacky meal but you also get a cheeseburger and can eat it with dignity
