Upgrade of HP Compaq Pavilion M6 1009tx?

Need suggestions pls…Is it worth to upgrade the ram and adding ssd to hp compaq pavilion m6 1009tx?
It has following specs.
Intel Core i7-3610QM 2.3GHz CPU - 15.6" LED Backlight Display - 8GB DDR3 RAM - 750GB HDD - Radeon HD 7760M Graphics / 2GB VRAM - Windows 10 pro…

If so pls suggest ram and ssd…
Mainly using for visual studio and sql server for software development.

    ram is fine.

    do you use the DVD drive?

    if not then I'd be installing a SSD in that slot with one of these caddies

    I'd just buy a 240gb SSD for windows and progs. keep the original HDD as data storage.

      Thanks for the comment…i am not using dvd drive…probably i can install ssd.
