Had this phone for 4 months. Highly recommend!

Camera is the only downside, however gcam vastly improves it. Would easily buy another if needed.

  • Does it have Zeiss optics like the 7.1?

  • I ended up getting the 7.1 for the other half. I was tossing up between the 2 of them. I pulled the trigger just over a week ago when JB had it for around $360. Camera performance is hard to judge between the 2. There have been a variety of reviews. Maybe most put the 7.1 in front by a smidgeon. That was high on the feature list. She seems happy with it so far.

  • Is this dual Sim guys, HN website says single SIM , Nokia Au says dual Sim?

I got mine from HN and it's single SIM

    • Second sim is 2g only and doesn't work in Australia.

    Hi All,

I've used various Windows Phones from when they started out as Nokias - the Nokia 1020 etc, because I needed the HAAC audio recording capabilities they have for loud music performances. Does anyone know if this range of Nokias (or the 8) have these HAAC microphones on board for recording high sound pressure levels? I am currently on the Lumia 950, which is superb, but if this has the four HAAC microphones on it like my 950 does, I'd love to make the switch.

  • Damn, price now $467 :-(

    • Still better price than the 7.1 if you want an Aussie phone.

  • Is the price still the same in-store? I was going to buy yesterday but the stock was open. Ugh.

  • Can confirm that this price may still be available in-store at your local HN. It all depends on stock, call them up to check. I went to Garden City - Mt Gravatt (QLD) and they had over 30 units in stock at $398.
