Pure Zone 500 Gsm Wool Quilt How Warm? (I'm Looking for a Quilt for Peak Winter)

I am looking for a quilt thats very warm for peak winter. Saw Pure Zone wool quilt 500 gsm but not sure if its gonna be really warm for peak winter

Any suggestions welcome… I'm looking for a quilt for peak winter….

  Gsm means gram per square metre. It's not necessarily a good indication of warmth. If you want to know how warm, you need the tog rating which measures the thermal resistance. Ask the manufacturer if this info is not available on their website.

  500gsm is pretty standard for a wool quilt. It's what I use in winter and have a lighter weight one for summer.

  Pure Zone will be overpriced for a comparable quilt. You could get a similar quilt for much less. Like this for example from Harris Scarfe:
