  thanks OP! based on the reviews, it's not ideal for salt water but since I'm planning to just use it on land so doesnt matter for me…

    for diving in salt water, aluminium based torches will always be an issue, for land use you get the added bonus of being able to wash under tap or use near rivers, drains, etc.
