No Fee Credit Card - (Solved Thanks)

Hi Friends,

I need some advice in acquiring a No Frills & No Fee Credit Card. I am currently working part time and don't make a lot of money. Hence prefer a No Fee Credit Card.

Anyone able to point me in the right direction. Thanks and Much Appreciated!

28 degrees, just make sure you pay off by the end of each month

  • Thanks Dannyc33, Will look into that one.

    why do you need one?

    • I realize that from time to time, I do need it for that odd travel interstate or not having enough cash on me situation. So a no frills card appeals to me.

      • not having enough cash on me situation

Just remember its not free money, so if you use it, you have to pay it back!

Don't pay it back in full each month means it'll cost you money in interest!

        • Thanks JimmyF. That's really good advice. I plan on making full payment if I use it. It's more for an emergency or odd travel situation, where a credit card would come in handy.

I highly recommend you not getting one. Your'e spending money you don't have

I, like many others on here, get a credit card to get the bonus points, spending only on necessary items to meet the bonus criteria.

If that isn't your plan, then I don't really see the point

        • Thanks Jason. Agree with you fully. I plan on taking a road trip sometime in the future and can't carry too much on me. So a card would come in very handy. I only wished I got one sooner when I was working full time to make it easier to apply for one.

          • @Lexus101: Why can’t you carry more cash (or at least a Debit Card) on a road trip?

            • @Richfield: Just in case they don't work for whatever reason. Cheers.

  • MeBank Frank card also has no annual fee and pretty low interest rate.
