    Bought two last nite for 19.90 plus cash rewards of 92 cents I think it was.. could have saved around 3 bucks..lol ..thanks for the posting though, might help others.

      This is a good price but a heads up, Optus does not provide delivery report for your text messages. So if you use SMS its better to keep an eye for a Telstra or Vodafone deal

        Yes. Look at the trend of other mobile deals.

        Amaysim always goes to 50% off towards the end of the deal

        Also the vaya has gone to 50% off and a previous kogan deal went to 50% off.

        So I'm pretty confident that this deal will go half price in the near future

          Just took another look and you may need to have auto-renew on for 8x28 days to be valid. Suggest to jump on live chat to confirm. Sorry about this. Below is what I get when I turn off auto-renew:

      Yes if you're prepaid, with postpaid you may have contractual obligations to Vodafone but yes if you don't.

        I did not use a new email and using the old email which was registered with Amaysim last time. I am counted as a new customer. New customer is defined as totally new signups and return amaysim customers. So you can still use your last email address.

      Port out to Telstra and then port back in using a different email address (all other details can remain the same). Order the Telstra sim online for free (from the Telstra website). Then buy a $2 Amaysim Starter SIM from the supermarket. When you have both SIMs, port your number to Telstra (you do not need to recharge your service at the time of activation). Then as soon as you are with Telstra, go on Amaysim Live Chat (use a different email address to the one you previously used with Amaysim) and say you want to port to Amaysim with the Groupon voucher you have and want to activate it with the SIM you just bought. They will guide you through the process and in a short time you will be back with Amaysim.

    Just noticed the 1GB may not be capped "Excess data charged at $10/1GB ". Can anyone confirm if its possible to disable excess data?

      Hey Gravy. If you are using any Android mobiles, you could set the limit to 1Gb. But if you are using an Apple mobile, then it's so far no way to limit it unfortunately.

        The text at their site is a little unclear as to what will happen if you go over the limit as it depends on whether this offer is classed as prepaid or post paid (which is it?). If it's post paid they add it automatically, prepaid 1GB accounts seem to need to have extra data manually activated though.

          It is prepaid so no need to worry. When you use the 1GB allowance your mobile data will be cut off. You will then need to go to your account and buy a data pack to continue using data.

      Yes this is possible. Just select new number and use a new email address when signing up. Alternatively you can easily port out and port back in again and keep your existing number. Porting out to Telstra is free (get free sim from their website) and the process can take less than 3 hours total from the first port out to being active again with Amaysim.

    just purchased. Does anyone know if I can just go to Coles and get an Amaysim sim for $2, then go online and activate it with the groupon code? I need it ASAP and don't want to wait for SIM to come in post.

      Yes. After you buy it, go on live chat and they will activate it for you straight away. Just let them know that you what to activate it with the Groupon voucher.
