Not for me. The only iPhone I use is an old iPhone 5, and I have to use Cydia Injector to put the Rock Band game I bought 8 years ago back onto the phone every week because they don't let me redownload it, and the phone needs iTunes to tell the computer that it trusts it to use Cydia. I can't be (profanity) jailbreaking the phone just for my one game but damn, lame.
I think you are proving my point, the need for itunes to uses this bargain, yet itunes is being shut down.
Maybe, just maybe, you have already got your money’s worth out of an 8 year old game that was, probably, less than $10 to purchase. Maybe you need to let it go. You can’t expect Apple to support this forever. A lot of non updated apps became obsolete when IOS 11 was installed.
In relation to iTunes shutting down I would be very surprised if they don’t provide a windows player for existing video/audio purchases even if the don’t allow people to purchase more.
I'll have you know it cost more than 10 dollars, but moreover, after upgrading from iOS7 the other day I lost access to The Simpsons Arcade game, have I not suffered enough?
@TheDukeOfNukem: There are people scrabbling for a living off refuse piles that are shedding tears for you. That said it does suck when something you have spent so much time playing sails off into the sunset. Apparently they recently found some tapes associated with the moon landings and they are trying to see if they can find technology to play them on.
