Buying Online from Wiggle Australia

How is your experience with buying from wiggle.com.au? I want to buy hiking boots and the cheapest that I can get them from a local shop is $230 on sale. However, wiggle.com.au sells them for AUD $150 with free shipping. I'm tempted to buy from them but I keep getting that feeling that the price seems too good to be true.

They're fine.. They're a major seller. Bought numerous times from them and shipping is pretty fast

    • Thanks ordering boots tonight

Yeah really good in my experience, spent way too much money on cycling and running gear… Great to work with warranty wise, recently had something break that was nearly two years old and they shipped a replacement out the same day they responded to my emails and I got it about a week later.
Exact same gear generally as you find in stores. Some items (like Garmin watches and computers) ship are Australian stock and ship locally but that's reflected in the price.

Wiggle's a massive online retailer. I've bought more than I can remember off them over the years for cycling stuff. Been buying from them for 7 odd years now. I know quite a number of other cyclists who buy from Wiggle too.

Wiggle/Chainreaction are excellent. Made a bunch of orders from them the past few years. No problems at all.

  • Thanks for all the feedback

  • wiggle is not only legitimate, but even with hardly normals tax still better value than AU B&YM retailers, who will never learn not to rip off their customer base. Used them for parts, tools, swimming togs etc, always cheaper than buying here.

  • I have shopped with them a few times and was introduced to them through the wiggle gift cards that Woolworths used to sell, as I received one as a gift. I thought it was a store for Wiggles merchandise. What I did notice was not only better pricing than in Australian stores, but often quicker postage, too, even though its from the UK!

  • Bought a few things from them when I got into cycling for a while. No issues whatsoever. Shipping is a little slow compared to local sellers though.

  • another tip is to check their UK site and see if it works out cheaper (if you have a currency conversion card) BUT you MAY be hit with gst on import. Last time i bought a hoodie from them, it said that i would be charged "additional charges upon entry into Australia" but i never was

several years. several thousand dollars. zero problems.

    your paranoia is unfounded.

    • Sounds like your experience with wiggle was very nice

  • sign up to newsletter. get another 5GBP off. wait 24 hours for code to be sent. new accounts only.

trust me i know, done it many many times.

    • Thanks for the tip

      • another tip is, wiggle and chainreactioncycles are now the same (merged). sometimes if you're buying clothing/footwear you can get $20 off $100 spend on CRC but not on wiggle. the stock inventory is the same, but discount codes can be better on CRC.

  • Very reputable

  • Never had an issue other than sometimes shipping comes from UK and takes a bit longer.

+1 to all the good feedback above. If you're lucky the shipping staff sometimes toss in a pack of Haribo!!
