Decent microfibre cloths for the price, assuming they're the same as last time.

Can vouch for those microfiber cloths that went on promotion previously. Great quality !
I still have another pack unopened from the last deal not sure if I should get one more from this…

      • Good quality for house or car?

I bought a few packs and have one each for car and house. Both works really well.

@profeeder55: Do you guys wash the cloths or just dispose of them down the line?

            • +1

@CVonC: Definitely wash and reuse it everytime. Unless it's used on places with crazy amount of dust or dirt then I would probably just chuck it after one use

            • @CVonC: Wash and reuse. That's the point of the things.

Good to make sure that the Clingwrap has a decent slide cutting mechanism before buying. Goliath often foregoes those nice features.

I bought the bulk cling wrap 1 or 2 years ago and it's almost unusable because of the garbage cutting strip.
We end up wasting so much because it doesn't cut cleanly. Hopefully they've improved it this time around.

  • How much are the Logix tablets normally?

    • The Logix work out to $0.15/tab. Currently you can get Finish 272 Tabs Powerball Quantum Lemon Sparkle on Kogan at $0.36/tab. So seems pretty cheap?

      • Anyone know if the bulk logix tabs come with dissolvable wrappers? Bought a bulk box last year and found out the hard way :(

  • $14.99 for 6 LED downlights. Is that any good? Is the quality any good?

    • +1

Apologies in advance for not answering your question directly. I can tell you that their 240v LED bulbs are good (no flicker, good temperature, good brightness). I cannot vouch for the 12 LED downlights however. These can often be problematic (any brand) as they are a retrofit option on a system that was designed for halogen bulbs. They can often flicker, but this depends a lot on the quality of the transformers in your current system. You can always buy a pack and test before replacing the whole house.

I'd suggest you look at replacing your current downlights with 240v LED downlights long term, as then you have many more options, no issues with flickers and they are generally user-replaceable once you get the powerpoints wired up in your ceiling.

The latex gloves break if you look at them funny (ie, most of the time when putting them on). Get some good quality Ansell ones instead.

  • I found Aldi's laundry liquids good (they perform well). The bulk liquid is a little inconvenient to pour and can make a bit of a mess with spillage, but maybe that's just me.
I found the laundry powder does not dissolve in my front-loader. I end up with half of it clumped in the powder tray. Maybe a non-issue with top loaders.

Thanks NC, getting some logix today :)
