Here's the full list of products available in the first slot of 10am Saturday in eBay's Plus weekend sales. These will go fast. Also with all the talk of poor value for money with eBay Plus membership, consider you can easily pay off your subscription with one of these purchases. In my opinion, great value for money. Don't forget there's also 15% off Plus Items with code PLUSWKND. Enjoy :)

        • Hi,

Sincerest apologies for the delay and thanks for contacting us.

According to the below tracking number, your order has been delivered. Can you please confirm.

That's what they replied to me for the second toothbrush that didn't arrive. I doubt Shavershop will reply to my recent message

@Simoneee: I suggest contacting eBay support. Not to sure but I think they may be issuing vouchers as there seems to be quite a few of us. I'm waiting for my case to be closed, then will contact them again about the voucher.

            • @adr8: Contacted eBay but no voucher :(

              • +2

@Simoneee: Support need to escalate to the marketing department, only they can issue vouchers. That's what the rep told me.

She was keen to escalate it to marketing department and report the seller, especially because the seller was part of the eBay Plus promotion.

I'm expecting a reply by Friday, if not will wait until my case is closed and will contact them again.

Guys I just got a reply from shavershop! Seems to be some progress!

'I sincerely apologise for the Oral B Vitality toothbrush you did not receive. It appears there was a transferring issue on our server with the remainder of your order. I have since manually allocated this to a store to be processed and dispatched out to you shortly.

You will receive your tracking details shortly via email.'

Interesting. Does this mean EVERY order made in the promotion has the same issue? How would people know?

        • +1

Pls update if they do send it out to you. Im still waiting for their reply.

          • @Skysurfer88: I have just recieved postage confirmation from one of their stores with a tracking number. It's in transit at the moment :)

            • @knight321: Same for me, tracking number provided yesterday at 6pm.

        • Yes I got this reply too. The same time I received the tracking information — it was posted from the SS just 5 mins away from my place.

  • Thank you TA!!!!!!

Fumbled at the start of the sale but managed to grab some crayola!

  • Aromatherapy Diffuser seems to be back in stock, with the same code like before.

  • What was new at 3pm??

  • No $0.99 Items :(

    • The unsole 99c items are still listed but there is no links to them posted here?

  • +2

    3pm deals are average

  • Thinking about whether to keep the Dyson v11, 800 is still overkill for a vacuum …

    • Were you able to buy one from eBay today?

      • Yes it lasted for over 15min

    • Probably won’t get this deal anywhere else with the price though.

  • +2

@tightarse will there be 99c deals tomorrow morning?

  • +1

Thanks TA, scored 4 items! Now to hoping I get them :p

  • Has anyone managed to get their Rova drone working on iOS?

I went to download the app and the developer has pulled the Rova app from the Apple's App store. I tried changing my location settings to see if it was available in the US, but it doesn't appear to be there either. The app to control the drone only appears to be on Google Play…

    • +4

      On the listing

For Apple users, please download app AEE Zone in Apple store to use the drone.

      So this App.
Let me know if that works

Awesome - thanks mate. I couldn't find those details on the listing I had.

        Thanks again.

      • Thanks mate.

    • I did the same thing and ended up just messaging the seller. Tried US and UK stores cos I had no luck!

    Battery pack just arrived!
Also came with a "$100 Naked Wines" voucher!

      … And about $59 for a case of 12 thereafter. 👎

  • Just got my sodastream play today and noticed a piece of tape covering some writing on the box and when i took it off there was a best before date for 23 December 2015. Any idea what this is for?

    • Maybe the gas? But being a sealed unit it doesn't go off as such so not sure what else it could be referring to other than a cannister date stamp.

I noticed mine shipped with a 40l cannister, our sodastream source came with a 60l and I noticed in the Play paperwork, the 40l is directly exchangable for a 60l upon first exchange. Not ideal in my case as I refill my own but just means I'll have to fill up more often.

    • Did you receive a tracking number and what was your original delivery date? My tracking number still only shows that the shipping information has been approved, and eBay said a guaranteed delivery by tomorrow.

      • My original delivery date was for today, but it arrived yesterday. As for the expiry date, I found that it was actually for the bottle that we get: source; https://www.quora.com/Why-do-SodaStream-bottles-have-an-expi…

So it's probably recommended that those who did buy the sodastream play machine get their bottles replaced.

  • +1

Just received Sodastream. Box was in such poor shape, clearly been opned, the box said best before 2015, and the 40L gas bottle has 2008 on it. Super dodgy

  • +1

Anyone else got there dodgy fry pans? 2 of the three handles don't screw in completely making the handle useless. Dodgy ebay sale.

    • Haha the drone isn't much better, even the sodastream is an old model but I'm happy with the sodastream for the spare cannister and bottle.

The drone is so hit and miss with the app control. Very jittery. Screams clearance stock for sure.

      • +1

I got two drones. One is faulty, no Wi-Fi network created. The other one is jittery as hell and won't hover stably. Absolute pieces of crap . Will see if I can get the dead one replaced. It's a shame as it's packaging makes it look like it could actually be a premium product. The physical build quality looks good.

I guess this is what you expect from a shoddy Melbourne based company who was once worth 10c per share and now is worth 0.1c per share…

        • +1

Yep my drone has a bit of a mind of its own. Not overly fussed. $1 to try one out. 🤷‍♂️

It looks good sitting on the table though!

The sodastream I wasn't too concerned about either as I fill my own cannisters and I just wanted a spare cannister and bottles. The actual machine is insurance if my current source one gives up.

@db87: Had a couple of very short lived drone experiences before putting it back in the box for a while! I told my husband to use it out the back yard, given another poster's experience of it going rogue inside and breaking.

Well, it went up, and took off a 100m or so over a number of houses. Fortunately, he found it on the pavement a street away.

Take two - we try and use it in the house. Goes okay for a minute or two then develops a mind of its own and rockets up into the ceiling a couple of times… Might need to revisit the instructions, or perhaps it is just possessed!

            • +1

@brokenxsmile: Hahaha if you're referring to the one here, the rova, then yes, my initial experience has been much the same and the reviews seem to reflect as much also.

Oh well, for $1, it's a toy I can let the kids attack and if they destroy it or lose it, I'm not going to lose any sleep over it. Next excursion will be down at the park when it isn't too windy but it's days inside are over. If he dies, he dies! Hah

              If he dies…

  • Anyone get their Oral B toothbrush sent out yet?

  • Did anyone receive their wireless speaker? It's almost 2 weeks already. Tracking shows no movement, just "shipping info received by auspost".

    • Yep within a few days

    • Got mine pretty quick. Still sitting on my desk in the box lol.
