HEYKOALA

Hey You coffee credit valid for the first 1000 people to sign up to Koala’s mailing list and redeem the code supplied. Coffee credit must be redeemed on Hey You before 05/07/2019 4pm. Free coffee is non-transferrable, non-refundable and not redeemable for cash.

It appears the code is just a generic word: "KOALA". Thanks kszv "HEYKOALA". Thanks Ninjabredman

haha, legend! worked for me too, tested out through the shopping cart - $0 upsized coffee

Here we go, this will be closed/shutdown soon. People will abuse it then hey you rep will come in.

    • +4

They should have put in more effort with the codes then.

      • +2

It's limited to first 1000 so I doubt the rep will step in. It'll just stop working soon.

  • Mine added $1.50 not sure if I can even buy a coffee that cheap 🤔

  • +1

How the hell are Hey You making any money? Seems like there's a new code every other day.

    • +1

With a code like this, I'm guessing it's essentially like a sponsorship deal – they get Koala 1000 newsletter subscribers; Koala pays for 1000 coffees.

    • +1

I think you meant the shopback deal? Not necessarily a code. Guessing it's partnership to get more new customers for both hey you and shopback. I have referred 2-3 people because of it myself

  • Be quick, as it's first 1000 claimed not just entered I think. So if you wait I will have had my 1000th coffee on my new 10minutemail hey you account

  • +1

But are the mattresses any good?

    • +1

nah and their frames are so overpriced

  • Code invalid

    • Wow that was quick!

  • invalid

What the hell I actually signed up properly, got the email with the code before this hit the front page, and now I'm not able to use it. Not happy jan

      • Didn't get the 2nd email :(

        • Don't worry code in the 2nd email doesn't work either.

Not working now, might be gone?

      • This one's gone too. I tried it merely 10 mins after receiving the email with the code…
Offer indicated I had until 05/07/2019 4pm, so wasn't in a rush. If only they had sent a unique code. Ahh well snooze you lose

  • +3

    Gone in 60 seconds minutes.

  • i can confirm HEYKOALA worked for me

  • Ozbargained ☕️

added code FATWOMBAT, sippin' my chai latte… good times

  • All in all, a pretty ordinary deal. Email came through suggesting you need to signup quick to be the first 1000 and get the coffee, then it turns out the code is generic. Not going to neg, but not a great one.

    • out of interest, how is a free coffee up to ~$5.50 from any nearby participant an "ordinary deal" ?

    • +2

If "not limited to specific number of people" was a criteria for deals posted on OzBargain, then there'd hardly be anything posted.

    • +4

A true OzBargainer will know that he/she can't win every time. Lots of deals go out-of-stock quick, or are targeted offer. There will always be the next bargain…..

  • +1

Remember to unsubscribe from KOALA mailing list. They got a whole heap of caffeine deprived subscribers for free
