    No USB C thunderbolt?

TUF is their budget range of gaming laptops so USB-C is usually absent sadly.

I want to get laptop that can last for 5 years or so (not slowing down). If I get lightweight and good looking laptop, I will need to compromise on the inside. So I think it's good idea to buy gaming laptop (even though I don't game at all). Is this enough or I better wait for that g5 deal?

    • I like your thought on things but with that 5 years is stretching things for most laptops. With something like this also expect a toll to be taken on the battery. I can't see it making it 5 years without slowing down but it would be a reasonable slow down in respect to what you use it for. The battery isnt that great according to reviews :)

      Just my 2 cents

      • well then i just keep my 7 years old celeron then. give 16gb ram, ssd, usb-gigabit dongle, 5ghz ac usb wifi dongle. not pretty looking laptop but does the job for another 3 years. and next year maybe get usb 3.0 to usb c dongle.. so many dongles around it

    • You’ll be lucky to get 5 years out of a windows laptop unless you run Linux. Windows slows with each release, it really is unoptimised we have new HP X360 1030 g3 laptops and they are high spec and Windows 10 feels sluggish on them especially when compared to the old Toshiba z30s running Windows 7.

      • For me the best windows is xp
