Sony A6000 Camera - Best Price?

I've been shopping around for a new mirrorless digital camera and a couple of years ago almost bought the a6000 with the lens kit for almost $450 because of the Sony cash back deal. Instead I made a poor decision and bought a Nikon V1 which I've since got rid of as it was no where near as good as the a6000.

I just started looking again and am surprised to see the camera is even MORE expensive now - 2 years later! And Sony doesn't have the cash back offer on a6000 anymore either. Anyone know whats going on or has the price just been jacked up because there isn't any reasonable competition to the camera?

  Great camera, few years older model. I would get the newer model with extra $ with a deal?

  I bought mine for about $495 about 9 months ago - was monitoring it for about 3-4 months before I purchased. Seems like it fluctuates a bit, I'd probably wait it out or you could buy a secondhand one off eBay
