    • I was told of similar errors during my attempt a couple of months ago, required a patient telstra service rep and a parallel call with catch, documenting everything and clearly stating that this was a port in involving both optus and catch.

      I might have the chat history somewhere, will fish it out and share if needed

      • Just had a chat with Catch.
        Apparently my DOB wasn't registered properly when I ported into Catch and the rep has fixed that now.
        Will head back to JB later to reinitiate the port and hope for the best.

        • So JB staff have been instructed by their trainers that Telstra won't pay out the bonuses if an account hasn't been out of the Telstra network for more than 30 days.
          No porting for another 20 odd days :(

    Do I have to use any shopback coupon during checkout?

    This is the first time I am going to use shopback.

    What is the actual process?

    1. Activate cashback from shopback.
    2. Get deal from redirected catch connect website.
    3. Pay usual $15 and finish order. ( What will be in the coupon field?)
    4. Please advise the process and help.

      No coupon needed as long as you purchase from the redirected shopback link. Make sure you don't use any coupons not listed on shopback or else it will invalidate your cashback claim.

          Yes, it will show up on the shopback site and you should get a tracking email. Cashback isn't immediate and usually takes a couple of months for the cashback to be processed.

      Hi there I purchased the deal and did not get tracked at all. on the system it only said - clicked. I have now raised my tickets for missing tracking.

        I got a reply from gotyourback. As far as he knows there is no problem at his end, I guess we should all file a missing cashback with Shopback.

  • How does the cashback work? Does it refund to paypal or your credit card or just give you credit for future shopping?

    Purchased on 31/7 through browser and hasn't tracked zzzzzz. I've found Shopback to be super unreliable compared to Cashrewards. Only seems to work properly for Amazon. I've submitted a claim and will see how they go.

            • @slowFTL: I've got a reply from Nicholas at Shopback regarding the cashback claim process…"Upon checking, your missing cashback claim for Catch Connect has been lodged on 30/7/2019. For missing cashback, we will be sending the details to the merchant when a missing cashback has been submitted via the form. Any transaction that we query for the merchant would take up to 35 days from the lodged report date to finalise the result. The merchant would need to ensure that the cooling-off period has been elapsed and the items were not cancelled, returned or exchanged and that their analytics attributed the sale to Shopback. This is a fairly complex process hence why it can take so long, however it would vary from merchant to merchant. The claim time would still apply upon finalised as pending. Your kind understanding in this matter is highly appreciated."

      • They just fixed mine to $12 a few minutes ago. If they don't fix yours, you might need to send them an email

      • Oh just had a look at my profile, it is now shown 0.75 too though there is a missing claim lodged too for my case. not sure either they will fix the amount straight away or would it take the whole process of missing tracking investigation.

    Just a quick note to double check that your Auto Recharge is "OFF". I turn it off a couple of times and it switch itself on again.

  • Waiting for this deal to be back again. I think $3 for a 90 day plan is the best thing available, apart from amaysim's insane $55 Cashback on $30 plan (earlier, already used by me)
