Kind of silly that you will only find out if you were one of the first 100 after you get the card, spend $50 then wait a month to see if a watch turns up in the mail or not.

    • Agree thing like this always not good for customers

  • When thw competition start date?

    • August 1, already started.

      • Its been 7 days.

        • Received email this afternoon though!

  • Never heard this bank… Pass…

  • I don't think it is valid for WA as at the end of application, the signature must be sighted by their bank officer.

  • 7 months ago they refused to pay $50 for applying here
    https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/426989

They also have poor correspondence and never got back to me

Avoid this bank at all costs

Negging the merchant for poor customer service

Also weird that the OP Just signed up 15 minutes ago…

    • Op signed up last year. I think you looking at ‘last seen’ section.

    • Interesting! What was the cause for refusal? I signed up at the same time and received the $50 ok! I have actually received another $50 from referral.

  • I am not a big fan of this bank either. But hey a deal is a deal! Easy money for anyone planning a low fee credit card. Pretty easy spend criteria too

  • Could the half a dozen people I messaged via the referral system please respond.

    • I did

      • thanks, aldroid was the first to get back to me.

  • Has anyone applied yet ? I applied and then I was asked so many documents just for $1000 credit limit which other banks will not ask such as the last 4 payslip, last 3 credit card statement with the other bank, last 4 bank statement from savings account, last 3 months home loan plus recent rental statement. Wow.
Normally I was only asked for payslip and the most is the bank statement from savings account. This is way over.

  • They said they were going to extend the refer a mate promotion to the end of the year. Then randomly like two months later, all the marketing was deleted. It's the Police bank, open to others but yes maybe the staff you speak to are ex police officers….
