Well after I rushed out to buy the Phillips Series 3000 for $39.95 at The Shaver Shop last week,I came across this one similar in Priceline much cheaper!!

Good to know, but I'd save the $30-$40 myself. It's sold by Amazon so in the unlikely even of DOA I think return should be free and easy enough.

I bought $89 Philips 5000, way better than all my other groomer, I will never buy a cheap one again.
Recently? The 7000 was that price.
I bought few months ago from good guys, there are different models in 5000 series, mine is with a stainless steel head, I saw some 5000 model with black plastic-looking head like 3000, I had a non-wireless Philips trimmer, and an expensive Remington trimmer, both rubbish, dead within few months, and both hard to use.
Yeah, the blade set up on all models looks the same to me. It's hard to find good trimmers!

After stuffing around with several cheap (and not so cheap) beard trimmers my recommendation is to get a Wahl lithium-ion. Well worth the $90 or so I paid.
