    Spammed refresh on the deals page at 12:00PM on the dot, it didn't appear until roughly 12:03PM, by then it was sold out. It appears this is more a game of who can find the product before the 'deal' goes live.

    Home Hub sold out in two minutes, it took 2 minutes to appear on the deals page - by the time it appeared it was sold out - how did people find the link before it appeared on the page, using a different search term I suspect.

So deleted from cart because thought it might be a different seller. Searched it, found it, Noticed 323 sold, clicked buy now.. pasted code, pay.. sold out. F U EBAY.

    Yeah screw this. Garbage promotion. I already had eBay Plus and this has left such a sour taste that I will probably unsubscribe.

    They've presumably has thousands of people sign up for a trial account just for this, and it's basically a lottery.

      They use existing sellers, so it's a matter of finding the right one and F5ing their page before the code goes live.

      Someone posted earlier about allphones suddenly removing all Google Home Hub stock at around 11:30, so that was a good clue that it'd be them.
