Best Handheld Vacuum for Desk and Peripherals?

Hey guys, recently decided to clean my desk up and would love to keep it that way.
Any suggestions for a handheld vacuum for my computer desk and peripherals such as keyboard and mouse?
How do you guys keep your desk clean?

Thanks all.

  • I wipe them with damp cloth every weekend

Desk - Wet wipe or something similar for the desk. (Once a week)

Mouse - remove the Feet unscrew the mouse and use a cotton buds to clean it properly (Dont touch the pcb) only clean between the bottom and upper shell where dirt etc can build up and put back together with new mouse feet. (as needed, if your hands are clean it should never be needed)

Keyboard - remove all keycaps and use compressed air to blow out all dirt use cotton buds if something wont come off with compressed air. (every 3-6 months)

Desktop Tower - Remove the side panel and use compressed air to blow out all dust, also clean any air filters the case may have. Every 3-6 months depending on how dusty your place is, less if your PC case has good air filters)

Wash hands before you touch your desk

    • Will unscrewing the mouse void the warranty?

People use the tail of sticky note to push in and stick the dirt.

      • Yes, but if your mouse is that dirty in under two years (normal warranty length) then you are not washing your hands before using it.

        • Sorry no offence, you wash your hand everytime you use your mouse? If it is the dust what to do with hand washing?

    • It's a personal choice, but I think blowing compressed air moves dust into tight places rather than removing it. I think vacuuming a keyboard regularly is the better option. Similary with fans, dust might be forced into friction areas and doing nothing might be better.

  • Ended up getting https://www.harveynorman.com.au/black-decker-18v-handheld-du…
Really good, powerful. Loud as hell though, about as loud as a normal vacuum but its a nonissue for me

    • how big is it?
does it have attachment to smaller nose?

      • It's pretty big and heavy but it folds up so I have it in a drawer to charge.

It has 2 attachments, a smaller hose and a brush, they're both built in to the normal hose and you just flip them out.
I really like it, suction is really strong.

        Would reccomend highly.
