    • Very old joke

  • How do you set up your account to use your apple/itunes funds to pay your monthly icloud storage? Sorry I'm relatively new to icloud.

    • If you have credit in iTunes it uses it first before your CC, i use it for iCloud/netflix/apple music so 15-20% off.

      • Really? I have plenty of credit in my iTunes but it always deducts from my CC :(

        • Do you have different Apple IDs? Same or different login for iCloud and iTunes/App Store?

    • You scan the cards to add funds/credit against your iTunes account used to pay for your storage. As a subscription, it’ll take funds from your account and use up available store credit first with your credit card as a fallback.

      • yep i've added it against my itunes account but for some reason it keeps taking out of my CC and not my credit/funds.

    • Create an Apple ID, redeem the voucher, purchase iCloud

Fee from iCloud will be debited first from your iTunes credit then your card if your iTunes credit is not enough

Just checked my emails re: iCloud sub payments. Looks like it had been taking from my Apple balance/credit this whole time. Cheers.

  • Can anyone advise if purchasing these gift cards counts towards Cole's spend for FlyBuys points bonuses?

    • +1

generally doesn't - check the T&C's for the point promotion you have activated

    • It does. Already on my statement from purchase 2 days ago

      • I think you get regular flybuys points. Not sure if you get credit for bonus points?

  • Nice! Nice!! thanks TA!

    Hey,

Just bought for myself a $130 worth of the Gift Card and upon swiping my Employee Card I got additional 20% on top of the 20% Discount. Ended up paying only $78. So that's basically a full 40% discount. Take advantage of that if you work there.

    • Nice I'll try that as well

So I just bought $500 worth at my local Coles (we go through a lot of credit in my house). The employee came up to the self-serve checkout and said I need to ask if are you buying these for yourself? I was like yes, to pay for iTunes subscriptions etc. They then went to the customer service counter and got a SCAM flyer and said they are required by law to hand one to me due to how much I spent on iTunes cards, before confirming again I am buying the cards for myself. WTF.

    • This has been the case for quite some time due to fraudsters…

I personally served a customer who bought $2000 to pay for something even I warned that could be scam, but he still said it was safe because he was his boss. Then he came back on next day asking for refund due to it was scam. It is hard to believe so many young people these day can fall in these scam.

Anything a google user can buy with itune gift cards (in Apple Store that is)? I dont have any apple devices (since Iphone 4s).
Is there something I can buy and convert to Google app from Apple store?

  • I have no need for them, but if I had the time and the inclination (which I don't) I could buy them now, and sell for a profit at 10% off in the future.

Although, 10% ($10) per $100 card would be a tidy profit.

    • Not sure what the future looks like to you, but there's been 15% off pretty much every month.

      • I have no idea mate, like I said, l don't have a need for them, so I haven't been following prices at all.
