Greetings everyone, I just spotted this over at MyDealz and seems like an awesome deal on a newly released game!

The listing states that this is DLC only, however according to many reports, when actually redeeming the code it gives the full game!

I believe you need to redeem on either phone or the Xbox, DO NOT redeem on the PC!, can redeem on PC also.

Thanks to Sharyingh, the PS4 version is also $5.49 curently and apparently redeems as the full game.

Seems like PS4 might only be the DLC unfortunately.

      It's the DLC, not the full game. The site simply has a bug at the moment and is giving you the full game instead of the DLC. I wouldn't be surprised if anyone doing this gets the full game revoked from their account soon afterwards.

      I was in the same bought but the deal is relatively fresh so bit the bullet and did the order.
      Redeemed without any issues via the Xbox app… purchasing would be 'at your risk' though as they can fix the bug at anytime.

      Could say that about any price errors that are listed… if you end up getting the game for $36.99 that is a bargain.

          Yep correct, that's why in one of my other comments I mention the purchase is 'at your risk'. I voted positive for this deal because I personally have purchased and benefited from this deal.

          If I purchased and they fixed the bug, I wouldn't blame doweyy for posting it as I knew what the risk is prior to purchasing. If I lost $37 because I made the decision to buy it, then that is my loss.

    wow based on Metacritic ill pass even at this price. Still havent updated since Fifa 17. Same sh}t every year.

    These games are some of the worst of the worst pay to win and MTX out there. Yet people buy this crap every year and feed EA billions so they think it's okay to put it into other games.

        Video games from EA and the rest of the house of cards AAA offenders contain gambling mechanics and are rated for children. Their parents are ignorant because they trust the ratings still.

      There's no doubt that loot boxes like FUT are gambling. EA is one of the worst (most publicised) offenders, but many are doing it and it's not good for kids (or anyone really, since you'd have to be a complete sucker to buy into this stuff).

      I've got a mate who's 12 year old son stung him for an estimated 5 figures (I believe it's less though).

      The game was Fortnite and I told my mate it's his fault for not regulating it and locking things down, but then I found out what happens in schools and the bullying that goes on with this stuff. The kid was made an outsider and excluded if he didn't have certain things in the game that he was told to and he had to get on when his group got on or they'd kick him out of the group and so on.

      I'm a dad as well but my kids (5 and 7) have no interest in videogames and I have various consoles, pc, racing rig, VR, etc. My payments are locked down, but I know kids are resourceful and I always found a way when I was a kid.

      Most parents don't know about any of this stuff and innocently buy their kids a console the same way my parents bought me one in the 80s without knowing anything about the toxicity online and how insidious and predatory these companies are.

    I think this is an error with microsoft. even with the code i got from buying the game at jbhifi.
    when i redeemed it it said standard edition and i can now play without having the disc in.

        Thanks OP, I bought this showing as the Gold DLC for PS4, code sent to me email after purchased, and redeem via Aussie PS account and got the Fifa 2020 Standard Edition.

        I'm not 100% if it means that this is the FULL game or just the DLC waiting on the FULL game.
        Not at home to try to download the game, OP were you able to download the game to your PS4? Because sometime you can't download the game because of DLC.

      Yes we all know it works. But what we are trying to work out is that when you redeem the code and it says its redeemed is doesn't actually allow you to download FIFA20, so we assume that this code only enables the DLC and not the actual game.
