You can't sell yourself on sites like realestate.com.au, but you can pay a company like For Sale By Owner, Buy My Place, etc, which will provide a board outside your property, as well as an ad on sites like realestate.com.au
Cheaper than paying an agent, but it costs. Also, prospective buyers will know you're saving money on agent fees and discount their offer.

So you want to list yourself and avoid real estate agents? You sound as though you need to do more research.
Step 1 google the process.
Step 2 work out it’s too hard and go see an agent.
Step 3 ask which site to sell on.facebook marketplace
