    Price Hipster yoyo.

Looks like the usual price is more like $559.00.

Keep in mind that Kogan is a Choice winner this year.

Not directing this as an attack on you but I have to say Choice are Full Of S….

They charge for their Choice recommends label and if you don't pay you can end up in their "Dodgy's"

They criticise people for taking commissions but have a history of taking the exact same commissions themselves.

They are spending millions on an alternative revenue source which will take ….. commissions.

Their former CEO ended up at ASIC as Deputy Commissioner. He left late last year.

Early last year ASIC fined CBA and ANZ last year $2.5million which was then paid directly to Choice in preference to community organisations and without running it by the government as expected to do so.

      • I don't think Kogan have to pay commission for that "award" (did you read it? LOL)
P.S. My buying experience from Kogan so far has been good - timely shipping and products good as described. I have not done a return or warranty claim yet (touch wood) so cannot comment on that aspect.

I don't know anything about all that.

        What i do know is:

        1. I had to return a circa $250 item to them once and i was stuffed around for ages before getting my munny.
        2. Fair trading gets bombarded with complaints from them.

Yup they are shonks. I had a warranty issue took months to fix it. Never buying from them again.

  • Price is nothing special.. to be considered as bargain

It seems like this is different from the original one in the review, which was single-gear.

Good price, but the weight (27kg) kills the deal for me.

    • 27kg??? A heavy steel mountain bike is circa 15kg, so that is massive.

      • +3

Motor and battery pack probably make up the bulk of that weight. My hoverboard weighs 11kg!

        • -2

If your hoverboard has wheels, it's not a hoverboard, but a fake hoverboard. A fake heavy hoverboard. Sorry to have to break it to you, but this is OB, and we deal in facts here. Heavy duty facts.

None of the pictures show a person riding it. This is something that could be useful for me but I can't see how anyone could use one of these without looking silly.

    • +1

Not really an issue if you look silly anyway.

      • Sillier.

  • What's the weight without battery I guess. Loading it in a car can cause backpain if it's over 20kg.

  • Expired? Shows up as $599 + delivery for me.

    • +1

Yes, I think it was like a 3 hours flash sale.
I guess that's their regular price then, not $729 ;-)

      • In the past I found them quite shady with regards to how much they charge for postage when products are on sale. So out of idle curiosity, if you bought one would you mind checking again the postage costs and seeing whether or not it has changed and report back for me =)

        • No I did not buy, it was not a must have for me. I rarely buy from them unless it is something I really wanted with a big discount (and I could not get that price on EBay or Amazon). The last 2 items I bought (over $1000 and $30 respectively) had a big discount, bulky and came with free shipping (no I did not pay for Kogan First shipping).
