Seiko 5 Sports Automatic SRPD53K and SRPD57K - $299 Delivered @ Starbuy

160

Randomly checked the 1 Day sale from Starbuy and saw these two watches. I think these are normally $390 like the other coloured ones.

There are other watches on sale as well.

Edit:

Here's a link for the other Seiko 5 watches from Starbuy. You can see the other colours at $390 or $399. The green one is even at $419. :( Waiting for it to go on sale.

  • This one and the black and gold have been on sale for this price since last Friday (3 day weekend sale) and got moved to the 1 Day sale on Monday or Tuesday and are still on sale - may end tomorrow, may drag on longer.

  • Im looking to get a seiko SNZF17 which is similar. What is a good price for one? Thanks

I wouldn't say its similar, different model line, different case, different movement, it is a seiko diver though I guess. Cheapest at the moment looks to be around $190 for grey stock, they have been in the $160s in the past. Personally i'd pay the extra $100 for one of these new models with full warranty.

      • Thanks for the reply man. Where would you recommend buying from? looking to get my first watch so pretty new to all the different websites

        • +1

for a piece that old you likely won't find it outside of grey stock on ebay unfortunately. someone with good rep and shipping from australia (so no added gst) is your best bet - watchspree, chronospride on ebay could be good.

      • Neither the one in the post or the SNZF17 divers - they look like dive watches but without a screw-down crown or 200m water resistance, they are only good for light splashing.

        • Most people don't buy dive watches for diving - 100m is fine for all but diving. If someone wanted a dive watch for diving though my recommendation is the citizen ecodrive promaster sea which can be had under $200AUD (not atm though). Iso certified and reliable. These days a watch is only used as a backup for a dive computer so if you're going to wear one diving it may as well be reliable and accurate - can't go wrong with ecodrive for that.

  • Love the look of the SRPD51K. Hopefully that goes on sale soon
