This original deal came though on an email titled "Bike Promotion of the week", "TEAR UP THE ROAD, PROMO ENDS OCT 27"
So it appears the deal is now expired.Can anyone with this bike confirm that it’s the R7000 and not the R5800?
Can anyone also confirm the front brakes are actually direct mount?
The Crankset is FC-R7000 and the front brake is BR-R7010-F Direct Mount Front Brake Caliper so yes it looks like its the R7000 set and not the 5800 set.

Thats from my bike. I had originally assumed it was the 5800 set but then I saw the discussion happening on the thread about the it being R7000 so I had a look.

Just received written confirmation from Decathlon that this bike does NOT have direct mount front brakes despite what the specs say.
But didn't prediff confirm his bike had direct mount front brakes?

Do these come boxed and with a instruction manual? Mine just came already built.
No mine wasn't boxed, the bike guy assembled it already. But it did have a manual attached which was not in English. Luckily it's pretty self explanatory.

Nah mine had pedals as well and it wasn’t the display model. I assume they attached them since it wouldn’t make sense to assemble them but stop at a point where you can’t use it.

@gaz3342: I mean it would've flown off the shelves even at $1500, I reckon it beats all the other $1500 bikes. But I get it, no ozbargainer wants to buy because they couldn't stomach the thought of missing out on the cheapest price :D
