Ryobi 18V One+ 1.3Ah Bypass Lopper Kit (1.3AH battery and charger included) $99 @ Bunnings Warehouse

For some reason, this is cheaper in a kit than the tool only ($199). Battery and charger themselves are $79. I know, 1.3AH is pretty tiny, but at least the battery is light.

Note, my receipt is returning a line trimmer. Look in the sale section.

Ryobi model number is RLP1813. Bunnings I/N is 0088673, Barcode is 4892210173720.

@jv: Not a very helpful suggestion to us then.
                  Please suggest another better option.

  • Not much more expensive than some good quality Fiskars loppers, anyone actually have experience with it? i used a great fiskars one for 20 years but it sticks now when it closes (it's not the two handled one, it's a pole pruner actually)

Wow, even cheaper than what I was comparing it to:

    • Could you lubricate your old ones and bring them
      Back to life?

      • +1

lubrication was working for me for a while, but over time it's been less effective. Actually probably what it needs is disassembly and a good clean then grease, as up until now I've only been using wd40

        • +4

Wd40 is a shitty lubricant and isn't what it's meant for.

          • @rbev: I should preface that the thing isn't mine, it's at my mums, and wd40 is the only thing she has. But yes.

Edit- location was oddly set to warnabool lol. Thanks op. Gonna go get this tmrw

  • I already got a Ryobi pole chain saw, do I need this?

    • I have the pole chain saw too. This is easier to control (lighter) and makes cleaner cuts, especially in sappy limbs.

I think the pole chainsaw is better for thicker limbs where visibility is better.

      • +1

You are right I got it today and already removed many limbs from my neighbour's trees. Worked well it was almost fun.

  • Good luck finding stock…

    • Mine was hidden up high and not priced. My store seems to hide bargains like this.

      • +1

The price is educed because they don't sell. They don't sell because they are hidden.

2 left on the shelf at Wollongong store this morning. The price wasn't labelled as $99 but scanned as $99 at the check-out
