10th Generation Intel® Core™ i5-10210U Processor (6MB Cache, up to 4.2 GHz)
Windows 10 Pro (64bit) English
Intel® UHD Graphics with shared graphics memory
8GB, 8Gx1, DDR4, 2666MHz
1TB 5400RPM 2.5" SATA Hard
I applied Unidays 10% discount and the price jumps to $1043.
Considering that the i3-10th gen is $698. I think this may be a price error.
Would buy it for myself, but the laptop weighs over 2.2kg and hence isn't portable.

I recently added sata Ssd into Dell inspiron 15 3585 with Ryzen 3 processor.
When I opened the cover I found there is a dedicated m2 sata slot on the right hand side. So if you want to leave 1 tb in there and add additional m2 ssd that would work.- -10 votes
So if you want to leave 1 tb in there
That's a great idea.
The extra weight of keeping the 1Tb disk in may keep it from blowing away in a hurricane.

@jv: The more sensible comment would to say that the laptop will perform the quickest if you install/clone O.S. to the newly installed decent quality ssd and use 1TB for files etc.
Yeah
Discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer. (from Unidays terms and conditions)
I thought Unidays would've stacked.

Looks like they got the priced mixed up. This should've cost $778.99 perhaps.
The $779.99 option has a 4GB RAM configuration. What kind of business laptop has only 4GB RAM…
And I think if you go around on the website a bit, you'll see the lower advertised price for the i3 model.
e595 takes ssd and 2.5” …..feature of a large laptop vs. a small one.

@TeddyBear: You'll need to buy an optical bay caddy to fit another 2.5" drive though

You could literally put an ssd on and replace the DVD with hdd, it’d be a good laptop

Cheap but considering TN panel and thick bazels I'll wait one more week

Meh.

HDMI to UHD 55" TV.
Wireless keyboard and mouse.
No worries :)
This cpu and mech HDD vs ryzen 7 2700u 16gb 5 12gb nvme at same price point for general use and occasional video/photo editing (non prosumer level)?
I was looking at this laptop and asked on whirlpool. I was recommended this laptop instead…

I3 but lighter, better display, ssd and more portability. What's people's thoughts between the two? I'm after a laptop for small business software, study and watching movies.
That laptop looks kinda ugly compared to stuff like the Dell XPS/HP Pavilion/Spectre.
I'm not sure about the i3 variant but the i5 variant (one I was interested in) weighs 1.67kg.
That is a good weight, it is portable and at $849, it is probably the cheapest 2-in-1 you can find that has i3-10th gen in it.
But the biggest let down for it would probably be that it has 4GB Ram.With this device also, you'd need to buy a Dell Active Pen for $38 (I think).
Maybe try talking to the dell chat representatives and get them to give you a small bundle discount (they normally do it by $10).
I'd personally say go for at least 8GB Ram. An extra $150-300 will be worth it.
Would also like to add, the battery life on the Inspiron 14 isn't that great.
It only has a 42whr and 3 cell battery.
Other laptops in this form factor all have 52whr+the laptop weighs over 2.2kg and hence isn't portable.
what kg portable pls? And is RAM soldered
Wow… That must be sloooooow.
