[PC] DRM-free download - Candle (82% positive reviews on Steam, RRP: $21.95 AUD) - $3.99 AUD - GOG

30

All-time lowest price for this game - good opportunity to support GOG for being DRM-free and an Indie developer.

Steam page: https://store.steampowered.com/app/420060/Candle/

From the website:

Candle is an adventure with challenging puzzles. Play as Teku, a young man on a dangerous journey to rescue his tribe's shaman from the evil Wakcha-Clan. But the way is littered with sinister traps and difficult obstacles. To master these challenges you need to have keen eyes and a good sense for your environment, or your next step may be your last.

But Teku has a special gift: his left hand is a candle. Let it be a bright beacon to drive off your enemies or to shed light on dark places. Gorgeous hand-painted watercolor visuals give Candle that special flair, as all backgrounds and characters have been carefully drawn and then scanned, picture after picture. The game consistently feels like a living painting.

  • Pay attention to all details to solve challenging puzzles
  • Always be on guard, the next trap lies in waiting
  • You hold the power of the flame in your hand
  • Hand-painted watercolor drawing, a painting coming to life
  • Gorgeous soundtrack with South-American Flair

Enjoy!

  • Not sure why the word 'download' is in the title. makes me read it as -free download-
.. actually a bit of unnecessary stuff int the title.. really need the steam price and rating up there? Makes it seem like your marketing it.

    • +1

I'm fine with it. Could drop the word download.

    • I am sorry you feel this way but a lot of people want this info - certainly for myself DRM-free is a big draw card.
The Steam pricing is there to show the discount - again, a lot of people use this to determine if it is a real bargain.
Rating is there for people to decide whether or not they want a closer look - if a game is rated 30% positive would probably no bother to have a closer look.

Finally, I have no connection whatsoever to GOG, Daedalic, Steam etc. I get no benefits whatsoever for sharing this deal.

    • Given your demonstrated level of mastery of the English language, I am not sure why you feel like you are in a position to provide writing critique.

      • You haven't added anything to the discussion. You understood my point but rather then taking that up you choose target how it was delivered - trying to troll?
Actually your comment history speaks volumes, I'm not going to engage further with you here.

So you can communicate clearly but just choose not to while telling people that they are not communicating clearly? That makes it worse. Be the change you want to see.

You do realise that you are only targeting delivery yourself yet you seem to believe that in your case you are adding something to the discussion? A pattern is forming here.

          If only you were trolling.
